@Christamario , I visited FCMB, GTBANK and Zenith bank and they insisted PTA is only issued on return ticket, so for people who are not doing soft landing, I dont think they will set PTA to them. Pls enlighten me if am wrong. Rgds

@Christamario , I visited FCMB, GTBANK and Zenith bank and they insisted PTA is only issued on return ticket, so for people who are not doing soft landing, I dont think they will set PTA to them. Pls enlighten me if am wrong. Rgds

Yes o, all the banks are issuing PTA's on return tickets only and most of them are insisting that you apply at least 3 weeks to your travel date. None of the banks are selling PTA's to persons with one way ticket. Another option I will suggest which I am currently doing is to hunt for colleagues or friends who are travelling out for trainings or workshops sponsored by my organization and I asked them to apply for PTA using their own return ticket. Some of them have agreed to do it for me, I will fund their account with the amount and once they get it, they give me the dollars. Although some requested that they will be needing at least $1k for their shopping while they give me $3k and I pay them the naira equivalent. I am doing it with trusted persons who will not tell me stories later. My travel date is August, I visited GTB,Standard Chartered and Stanbic and they all told me to apply three weeks to my travel date so I am waiting till then to still get at least part of the POF

It is either they like you or they are rich. what people do now is to buy and sell the ones they dont need at black market rate to either friends or abokis
