Ghana phone code is +233. So I doubt if your call came from Ghana. That looks like a UK phone number. Your information is not also clear. Who placed u on hold, is it a computer auto voice or an actual person? And did they inform you where the call came from. E.g " we are calling from cic please hold" ?

I know about the codes but I have sometimes received calls showing funny codes and in this waiting stage, one must not over rule any possibility. The call was placed on queue with an auto answering machine and I did not hear anything CIC. I also do not have any link with UK companies. It shall be well in the end.

Fellow COPA ;D ;D

The eagle has landed...

I have been a silent follower of this forum for a year now and I have learnt a lot after I commenced my Canadian Immigration journey.
I choose not to comment but just read, laugh and learn from people's insight...
I guess it is time to come forward and testify of God's goodness...I am yet to fully grasp the reality that I now have my immigrant visa and COPR.
the Journey started with my application being received on Sept 24. 2014 (I have been procrastinating applying for 7 years;thank God I did just at the nick of time with my wife) ;)
I got PER January 8 2015 and following was the 6 months plus wilderness waiting for MR(July 16th 2015) :o
One thing was key in this journey-You will learn patience, the canadian way :'( but it is worth the experience.
I got info on proof of fund in Aug 4 and the glorious email of approved visa and PPR on Aug 24th.
However, it wasn't that smooth as There was error in our application and risked being denied visa...failure to tick appropriately on our travel history. >:( Thank God who gave us wisdom to handle the challenge well for we overcame! ;D
DHL also brought in their "wahala" at pickup stage and apprehension was high as delay was experienced in picking up our docs.
Finally, we got the visa and COPR sha...all glory to God and thanks to insightful reviews here.

For all those still waiting, hang on...it is the way to go, but it will surely happen and you will all laugh last.

God bless you all, God bless the land of the free!

Congratulations!! It has ended well.

hello Bigboi,

Congrats on your COPR.

BTW, do you care to share the challenge you have with your travel history and how you were able to resolve it? I am sure some people in the forum will be able to learn one or two things.

All the best in the new land.

It will not be a bad idea to request for GCSM notes to find out the situation of our file. I did and found it VERY useful. Just a suggestion anyway.

Hi Kingsley, please how long did the GCMS Notes request take?
