BC gives duplicate copies on the condition that you prove you are sending it to CIC. To do this, go to BC with your package, they will insert it n courier it for u. You will pay for the courier.

Pls make sure you go to BC with a letter from you to CIC, informing CIC that BC has promised sending the ielts on ur behalf. Include a copy of the letter in your package and also give a copy to BC and have BC acknowledge a copy for you

Mama twins,its not a rule of thump to include a cover letter,just an advice.
The most important thing is that British council remembers to do the right thing by inserting the TRF of your IELTS.
I'm hoping you really followed up on them and you were given solid assurance.
Once its done,you have no reason to fear.
A cover letter is just in case if they neglect their duty on inserting it.
I really wish you the best.

I understand perfectly,I have been through such process before.
First time,negative....they did not insert it.
Second time,positive......cover letters,enough follow up and eventually God favour made it work.
Summarily,Its God favour that matters.
Funny enough,they were kind enough to release extra TRF for a buddy around July of this year.....
A friend who i directed there also last week too got an extra TRF....but with enough justification.
Its well...be calm and follow up with prayers.
