BC gives duplicate copies on the condition that you prove you are sending it to CIC. To do this, go to BC with your package, they will insert it n courier it for u. You will pay for the courier.

Pls make sure you go to BC with a letter from you to CIC, informing CIC that BC has promised sending the ielts on ur behalf. Include a copy of the letter in your package and also give a copy to BC and have BC acknowledge a copy for you

Please can anybody explain what this line means under the Proof of Language Proficiency in the checklist:

"Applicants are permitted to submit a copy of their language test results with a new application only if the original test results were submitted with a previous Federal Skilled Worker application on or after June 26, 2010 and were not returned to the applicant. All copies of language test results must be accompanied by the photocopy of the refusal letter from CIC and an explanation that CIC retained and currently holds the original.
Note: Language test results must not be older than two years upon date of receipt at the CIO."

I ask because of the question asked about including a photocopy of the IELTS result when applying under two NOCs

OnTop, the above refers to a situation where someone had already applied before and refused without getting a returned IELTS original results. One can then use a photocopy which must be accompanied by the refusal letter from CIC. One cannot use a photocopy for second application without first of all getting a refusal letter for the first application.

Hi, it's easy. Just take your DD copy to the Head Office or branch where it was issued to you and request that you want an update, wether the DD has been encashed. That's what I did for mine. The staff sent a mail to Citibank and I went home. That evening, I got an email from GT Bank that the draft was encashed with the date provided. All the best.
