Hi Experts and All,

I'm new to this forum and I wish to be a active member with you all.

I'm planning to apply for Canadian PR.

I've few doubts regarding ECA & Applying VISA.

1. Do we need to first complete the ECA for applying VISA. How long the ECA will take?
Yes. www.wes.org is the best as I did from them last year. it will take 7 to 10 days depending on the service you choose.

2. I have all the mark sheets (semester vise & consolidated) for both UG & PG. Still do i need to get the transcripts from the concerned universities.
No. Marksheets are enough.

3. I have completed my B.E in Electronics & Communication Engg & M.E in Digital Communication and Network Engg. Now I'm working as a Senior Systems Engineer in MNC. My question is whether my Education qualification and my professional designation should mach each other for getting ECA clearance?
ECA has nothing to do with your professional work exp. it is just assessment of your education against Canadian standard.

4. Regarding Experience letter from the company - I'm having Offer letter, Promotion Letter, Relieving letter, and Salary slips. Are these enough or do i need to get more from the companies that I've worked.
Yes. but please make sure job duties are mentioned in the letter which is most important.

Also could you please provide the checklist -mandatory documents that I've to submit fro ECA.
It is available on website. refer www.wes.org. mainly two documents. Degree copy and marksheets copies sealed by your university and send directly to wes. Once you go on site you will figure it out.

Thank you guys and expecting your response soon....

check my comments.

Dear Friends ,

I want to ask that when i asked my previous organizations to give me my experience letters they gave everything i mentioned but didnt gave the salary part , their argument was that you can give the proof of salary by giving your salary stabs and your offer letters so my question is that are these reference letter + salary stabs can be accepted by the immigartion officer or this miss will cause the problem in proving the relevant experience ?

and what type of certifications i mean technical or management based certifications will increase the chances in EOI ... I have 8 years of exp in Information Technology ( basically performance tester ) and have worked in Adobe , Alcatel , Verizon and Ericsson in past . I will appreciate your valuable inputs .

Regards
Neetu

Neetu,
You can attach exp letter with salary slips or appointment letters as well. these are all fine. main thing is you should have document from company mentioning your job duties and salary.

check NOC duties under which you are applying and tele with your job exp. if you think you match the duties, you are good to go. You can not have 100% matching duties as they mentioned under NOC but if you fall under major duties then its fine.

Get your application package from below link.

No IELTS should be included in your application otherwise they will send it back saying it is incomplete. Send application once you get new IELTS result copy.

Hello guys,

I have a doubt regaridng FSW2014. We have two recent news regaring Express entry and FSW2014.

My concern is whether both of them are separate program or same? If same, what is the max cap for FSW2014 in each category?

Also please guide me about the fund required. We are a couple planning to apply for FSW. what are the criteria for fund required?

Regards.

hello everyone! i can see few fsw 2013 forum members are back! more luck to us this time! :)))
as we are at the low start for the fsw 2014, it would be really great if some of you guys that are more familiar with programming could make a tracking list as the administrators of the fsw 2013 forum thread did. it is very helpful and informative!
have a great day and best of luck to everyone!

FSWP 2014 is separate from Express Entry which will be released in 1 January 2015. It is easier to apply in FSWP as you have to send the complete application package with all supporting document. Do this before the cap of 1000 in each occupation reaches. In express entry you won't know that whether you are been selected until CIC contact you as most likely they will pick the best candidates from all the collected applications.

They are different programmes bt Im afraid dis 2014 FSW might end by December. The maximum cap under each Job is 1000 and 25,000 in total

Hello all,
I am a newcomer to this site, so, first off, a big hello to everyone. Let’s network here and share whatever knowledge we have about the FSWP program so that we can make our applications successful.
I have the following questions that I hope someone can answer correctly:
1) Do we send the FSWP documents to the CIO office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, like last year?
2) I have applied and have been successful in obtaining a Canadian visitor visa in the past. Hence, I have a UCI number. Do I enter the same number on the FSWP application forms as well?
3) I tried to contact the CIC helpline, but the 1-888 number does not work if you are dialing from outside of Canada. Is there any number that I can reach them at that can be dialed to from outside of Canada?
If someone can submit answers for the aforementioned questions from official CIC weblinks that would be great!
Thanks
Clement

I read a couple of posts here that had members wonder about the Ministerial guidelines since they are going to be published on a Saturday (April 26th). Remember that last year, CIC accepted applications on a Saturday as well! So, I would not sweat too much about the guidelines being published on a Saturday!

YES

YES, there will be a section to enter UCI number under generic application form.

3) I tried to contact the CIC helpline, but the 1-888 number does not work if you are dialing from outside of Canada. Is there any number that I can reach them at that can be dialed to from outside of Canada?
WHY do you want to contact them?

We need to appoint admin to create Google spread sheet like FSW 2013 folks did so we can monitor our application.

Like below.
