No I am not in Canada anymore. Also I don't have offer from there. neither I would like to make it up because it may backfire.

I am just trying it out because it is not coming at a major cost.

If you know about it then could you please comment on the work experience query that I have above. thanks.

thanks,
monu

Of course nobody is even thinking of lying cic. The idea of having LMO and job offer is to go "fast track" with no worries for CAPs/NOC list.
Regarding your experience letter - I think it should be OK, but I have one concern - why do you say you had added/copied smth... This letter should come from your employer(s) and there are some special requirements how it should look and what to contain (check in CIC web site and the document checklist).

Thanks for your response.

Yes the letter is coming from employers only but the responsibilities mentioned on CIC website for 2174 are the exact ones that I have fulfilled all thru my career. So when I approached my employers, I insisted that it should look like something like this to which my ex-managers also provided their approvals. I did that to make my and CIC life easy and to reduce ambiguity to the extent of non-existent. So that's why I said I have copied pasted from CIC website and added my technological terms in between.

Monu

Understood! Good luck with the application then!
Just once again, pls consider the variant with the job offer...
Cheers

Hi All,

I have another query regarding bank statements to show proof of funds.

Normally banks are sending monthly statements (with their logo and all). Will the printout of that be sufficient as proof of funds?

Great, My application just reached CIO - NS

I mailed mine in July 29th 2013 - Under the 2174 Computer Programmers and media developers.
Should have reached there 1st week in August 2013.
No word as yet from them. Waiting is painful.

I just thought since they have a cap 300, they would be processing faster.... that is give feedback within a week or so.

Well 2174 cap is reached. Now we wait and see.....

Will 2174 applied in end of june have chance?
How is this cap calculated? On reciept or after PER ???

hello i have applied on 2 june under 2174 category now the cap of 300 is filled still i did'nt recieve any file no. but some people who applied with me got file no. . My agent just telling me to have some patience. Does any one knows that still i am in rece or not ?

Any one here , SAP professionals?

hi, my application was received on Aug 2013 with NOC 2174 but till now I dont have any news what's the status. Anyone received a returned application due to cap limit? Any idea how can I check the status of my application? thanks!

Hi ljdelu,

On the FSW2013 spreadsheet the first person reporting their application returned due to the cap for 2174 being full is Igorek. That application was received by CIC on the 3rd June, and they received their application back on 9th October - i.e. 4 months later.
You can see this here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?key=0Aovj20uHVWyzdGFqSGJUOEtVX0h5eWM0cXB5dlAtOEE&gid=20

Unless you had a job offer (i.e. a reason to be exempt from the cap), your application has probably already been sent back - depending on what the backlog is at CIC. I've read that they return applications by a fairly slow method (sometimes goes by land, not air) so depending on your country you may have to wait a different length of time to receive it back but it will probably turn up this month or next.

Sorry I don't have better news for you.
All the best.
