Yes, It is true that I have posted my status on Page 1 of this thread and I stand by the information I have given earlier.

I have submitted the application but I do not have any information such as Receiving Date/Person/Time. (Gave my application to post it to CIC when one Canadian friend visited me in Germany. Got an update that it has been sent by overnight courier on May 21. Did not seem so nice to ask for any more details).

So I did not update my initial status (Preparing Documents) on the spreadsheet thread. Even if I add my details to the spreadsheet, I would not be able to find the missing details pertaining to the receipt of my application.

A few kind hearted members in this thread have taken up steps to update my info in the spreadsheet. Thanks to your efforts. So, please count me in as a genuine applicant.

I will update my information when I receive any information from the CIC. Even if I am not there in the spreadsheet, I would like to let everyone in this thread know about the status of my application. I will keep you all updated if my application make the CAP.

Hi everyone!

I am posting at this forum after a long time. A friend of mine is going to apply for Can immigration soon. He has sent his transcripts in sealed envelope to WES a couple of days back through DHL. Now, we have come to know that the courier services like DHL open up every envelope etc sent through them as a security check. Which means that the sealed envelope containing the attested transcripts would also likely be opened by them in which case, it won't be a sealed envelope anymore. Will WES accept that? Can anyone who sent one's documents through DHL mention one's experience here. He is extremely worried as the time is very crucial. He has applied in NOC 2132.

That is not a problem...this is a global process, its not that only courier sent through DHL would be open....
I have send my documents through DHL from India and it was delivered on 3rd day in Toronto...
Send your documents as soon as possible without any hitch...

As an example, I have extracted timelines of 12 completed cases (New Delhi Visa Office) from the 2011 FSWP spreadsheet. Sorted by NOC. Can anyone deduce any information about the way CIC process applications.

Can anyone apply appropriate statistical methods and analyze the data from the spreadsheet? If I do it, I am not sure if I end up correctly. Statistics is not my forte.
