Wanted to clarify, what amount is payable.
Is it $490/- for Principal and Spouse, EACH? child being<22yrs, is exempted?

And what is "certified" cheque, NVDO website has listed this as an option to pay fees.
Pl guide.

I have to submit RPRF, Passport, Medical & PCC by 4th Feb 2014. I have already done Medical, but now I am waiting for PCC. I have applied for PCC today but it takes times. I think I may be miss 4th Feb 2014 deadline for other document submission. In this case what I need to do?

I am new to the forum and not sure how to post queries...
My query is as below:
Currently I am in Abu Dhabi and about to send my application for FSW:
1. I qualify for two NOCs, ho to reflect this in the application.
2. I find that application processing time are much shorter for India Visa office then London office. I am in UAE on a work visa for last 3 years. Can I apply from India office though I am currently in UAE?

Make your decision based on where you will likely be in the next one year. Also consider where you will prefer to have your medicals done.

I have got my application set back for NOC 1112 stating the application was received after the quota was fulfilled. It was received by CIC on 23rd Aug and sent back on 25th Nov. IS there any other way to apply the PR. I have heard that CIC has releases some new notification relating to Immigration. Please advice.

If you are based out of India and the visa office is New Delhi, then it is recommended that you get a Demand Draft made in any nationalised bank for Rs. 28,900/- per person. It is recommended that you pay in INR as you will be able to check with your bank when the DD was encashed.
There has been no mention of age of dependent children of a primary applicant for RPRF fee. In short, I think, the dependent child will not have to pay RPRF in your case.

Hi All,

Can anyone please help me in understanding time line CIC needs for processing very first application. My NOC code is 2147, and my application along with documents were received by Mike from CIO on 30 Sept. 2013 @ 13:37 local time. Till today I have not received a single communication from authority on status of my application, how should I take it...my application got rejected, or it may take more time...can any one please help me in understanding this situation.

By God's grace, I have got MR and PP request on 16/01/2014, on very first day of auspicious period by our hindu calender!!

Sorry for the delay, i was out there completing my MR.
Please refer any email received a day before or so prior to you got your imm1017. I got one from NVDO, per which you should contact VO -if you have not got them /could not open etc.. within 48 hrs of getting first intimation of MR.
So please go ahead and reply that first email stating your concern.
Following are the exact text which i am referring to.
"....... Medical forms and instructions are being emailed to you separately. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY AS THEY HAVE RECENTLY BEEN UPDATED. If you do not receive the separate instructions within 48 hours or if you have any difficulties opening the attached documents, please advise us by reply to this email. ....'

I also received one MR form (spouse MR form missing) on 10th Dec 2013 but my consultant put a CSE to NDVO on 11th Dec 2013.
I received missing medical form on 19th Dec 2013. U should put CSE as soon as possible to get ur missing MR forms.
