Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread. i have been following the thread passively, and i must confess that you have been doing a really nice job.

I sent my full application to the CIC on the 17th of march, 2014 and I got my CC charged on the 3rd of April, 2014 as well as my PER emailed to me on the same day (I could hear you saying, "that was pretty fast").

However, my challenge has been to log-in to eCAS to check my status. I supplied all details to the required fields -surname, DOB, UCI, place of birth - but i kept gettting a message saying "
We were not able to identify you using the information you provided." Please, I wish to be advised by anyone who have had this issue before.

I have done one mistake regarding address.

I have mentioned only my pin code and village name.

I forget to write my district and State name. I would like to ask it will delay delivery of my passport or it can reach on time without any difficulty.
I got DM on 31/03/2014 and I had sent my application through speed post.

If u have mentioned pin and country then i think there shouldnt be ny need of distt and state as pin is unique all over india.. So just chill

Dont worry Ramndeep...You will get it because first digit of pin is the code for state and second or third might be for district.
but be in touch with your local postman(Delivery boy)and explain him about your expected courier

PCC does not matter. It's Visa Expiry [Usually 1 year from Medicals] OR Expiry of Passport, which ever comes first will be considered.

My Visa office is singapore and looks like they have started processing application now (based on forum), of May 2013 applicants. I am may 24 applicant. Since I lived in the US, i will be needing PCC from there in addition to my own country PCC.

As FBI clearance takes 6-8 weeks, do you think I should apply for it now. My consultant is saying to wait (since 6-12 months validity). I, however, think FBI clearance will make the whole process delayed, if apply later.

Appreciate your advice.

first of all congratulations that your application is within 300 caps.
answer for your question of ecas update is that you must wait for 3-4 days more sometimes it takes time to update.

can u please answer few questions that are below?
1) your application sent date
2) your application received date
3) your NOC code
