DM DM DM DM....... Wow what a relief....

Finally I got my much awaited DM. Saw it just 5 mins back in E-cas..Thanks n congrats to everyone.. All the best to guys eagerly waiting for their MRs/DMs/Visa...My time line in addition to the quote above is as follows:

Photocopies of all pages of passport (myself/spouse) received by NDVO on 4th March.
Original Passport received by NDVO through VFSS on 19th March.. Spouse is in India on leave for 15 days.. I had filled urgent processing request form along with a request letter from the spouse employer to process fast.. I am not sure whether this worked as many applicants with time line same as mine are getting DM's/ visa stamped. So mine could also be a normal process also..

Just waiting to get the passport back so that the spouse can travel back to work.. Husman I pray for you man.. Hope you get the DM/Visa soon...

Regards,
RVPR

Congrats rvpr. All the best with your move. :)

Hi perfusionist, when did u get DM? I got my DM on 6th march 2014. I had sent my passports through VFS on 12th February 2014 itself. I had paid extra for return through Bluedart. So far in VFS website it says Inprocess and there is no sign of my passport return. Could u let me know when i can expect my passport back as people who got DM much later than me have got back their passports in 4-5 days.

iktheone, I believe perfusionist's VO is CPP-O, which works differently than NDVO. They issue DM first and then request for passport which they send back much quicker. For you query you may have to check with NDVO-DM veterans. Sinestra, SNRAO, nikjuneja have used VFS service - I am sure you are already in sync with them on this.

devkis no one has any clue. And i can't find any forums online whose case is similar to mind. Its really odd as to why my passport is with NDVO for so long. I have been able to read only 1 or 2 posts of delay and that too they applied in 2010 or 2012. For them it took 25-30 days after DM. Im really frustrated and these NDVO people are not replying to my email. What do i do?

Congratulations rvpr! By the way, you husband is on vacation leave? Where is he working? I am asking because I have the same situation as him. Thanks! :)

Sorry couldn't reply earlier as was in a meeting... Well my spouse works in Gulf, (Qatar).. Yes it is a vacation leave as no organisation will send you on business trip for your visa stamping.. but to have you back to work in time they can surely issue you a letter on letter head requesting NDVO to issue you visa soon.. For all this you need to be honest with your employer.. you may get a beating for planning for your future but then then they will realise that not many employees are honest in such cases and they will appreciate it.. afterall no organisation can stop you from planning your future.. Having said that just make sure you go on this path - you have planned everything in advance... Once you receive MR/RPRF/PP request, then you complete the formalities (MR/RPRF) immediately and send photocopies of passports duly attested along with MR/RPRF. Than wait for the avg. time taken by your VO for issuing DMs after receiving MR/RPRF/PP.. Based on that take a calculative gamble by calling your spouse who is out of country for visa stamping.. Fill urgent request form and attach the letter from the employer and send PP and Hope for the best.. If avg. time taken by your VO is more than the last date to submit the PP than send a letter to VO asking for extension of deadline to submit your PP.. Vo's generally will issue new deadline... and follow the process as mentioned above...

I am not sure whether urgent processing works as my time line is similar to the ones who are getting DM/visas through normal route..

In the end it is your call to do all the above or quit the job and come back.. Its personal choice.. I had no option but to do the above as my spouse was willing to forgo the Canadian PR for the present ********* (censored) job..

Thanks

Dear All Memebers,

I am new in this thread. My process is going smoothly up to now. My application received by Nova Scotia on 1st August 2013, processing start 28 January 2014. Medical; passport; PCC and RPRF request 12 February. all is submitted by 20/03/14.

I want to know how much time it will take as I am working in Qatar and my passport I have sent through my friend and finally reached CHC-ND.

Ramandeep

Congratulations Raman85DEEP! Just few processes then you're there. Just wait for a couple of months. Good to know you managed to send your passport. How was it, your employer agreed that you pulled out your passport with them? Because there are companies that don't like to give your passport unless you resign. :)
