Dear all, I am the one who was not lucky this time for FSW bcoz of late filling.

Now I have got to know that this time in May 2014 there won't be any categories and FSW immigration, and instead in Jan 2015, there will be new program with Expression of Interest (EOI). Is it true??

N ya my IELTS result is valid only till June 2014, so what should i do.. should i wait for FSW in May or should i opt for any province nominations without job offer??

I am totally dependent on your suggestions. Kindly reply.

Thanks.

rinal2174, don't lose hope. I suggest you try Nova Scotia Nominee Program. It's better than waiting for the next FSW. I think they will introduce the Expression of Interest (EOI), same with Australia. By that time, rules also will change. :)

Hello friends

received AOR yesterday.
congrats bro..:)

many of us r waiting for our MRs etc. for so long..here is the stat about how many pending fsw applications cic has,and we all know about 80 to 90 percent would be from INDIA..

The old FSWP was suspended by Mr Kenney in July 2012. At the time, he said that program would be reformed while suspended.
By 2012, before the old FSWP was suspended, a backlog of some 624,500 applications had accumulated because so many people applied. Some people were waiting for over eight years for their applications to be processed. In June 2012, Mr Kenney took the radical step of terminating all applications made before February 28th 2008. He then suspended the program in July 2012. These two measures have allowed the backlog of cases awaiting determination to be cut to fewer than 100,000. Mr Kenney says that he expects these cases to be decided by the end of 2014.

In late 2012, some of those who had had their FSWP applications terminated sued the Canadian government to try to get their FSWP applications reinstated. Their case was dismissed in April 2013 by a Canadian federal court judge.

So dont worry we all will get our Maple leaf sooner or later,as we r only 5000.

Hi Everyone

I would like to know your 2 cents on this issue. In a situation where one of the dependents decide not to immigrate to Canada, would it affect the landing of the rest of the family? in this case the dependent is NOT the principal applicant. They are not separated nor divorced at this point. Do you think their landing will be processed in Canada after they land or do you think they will have problems at that point if one member of the family did not show up later on. The principal applicant plans to land with the rest of the family in Canada. Please, I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR IDEAS. THANKS

Dear friend, As everyone is having Visa stamping on passport, PA alone or with any choice of family members he can visit. but i think without PA the family can't enter.
But the member you are going to leave now can still enter canada till validity of the visa.
So you can do that.
