Dear Frnds...

Background check done on 11th feb 2013.
(Inspite they started processing file on 20th Dec 2013.)

I was not present.

Now when further information I can except.??

Thanks.

Hi Sam,

With my experience in this forum you are the first case who got BGC after "started processing application" without receiving MR....I saw till now 2 types of physical BGCs before the 2nd line addition and after the MR.... So it is hard to tell when exactly the further process will happen... In the first case further processing happened nearly 2 months time period if the applicant successfully clear the physical BGC... You don't have to worry if you are not physically present also but hope your colleagues have passed the right info to the embassy people....

Could you share with us which city of Gujarat are you from? How the BGC process was?

Hello Sam,

What's your NOC? Have you sent your passport to the NDVO already? Where exactly are you from Gujarat? few more people were interviewed last week.

Yes for the return mail. Then you have to send it to NDVO.

Have you submitted passport, RPRF and Indian PCC already? If yes, then what is your status?

Old one is good and valid. In fact ielts should be valid on the day they receive your application. It may expire the next day but it will not affect the application.

Guys I have one querry.

I am here in uae and now my family is going back to home permanently. What I have to do about updates. Wether I have to update about this shifting of family to LVO AND their address....adress update is required for Principal applicant or also required for family as well as in my case.....please waiting for your feed back and suggestions. ..

Dear All,
While preparing the dox for an interview, one of the requirement in the interview guidelines is as follows:

Quote
Background documents including any documents to support your answers in the Background/Declaration form (schedule 1) such as completion of military service card, military records, membership cards or any documents showing your association or involvement in any social, political vocational and cultural organization.
Unquote

Does the above requirement applicable on anybody who has no military service, records or memberships with political/social/cultural orgs.
Please advise. Also Schedule 1 and Schedule A forms are same ?

In the Appendix II: Guide to the Completion of the Medical Report Forms for Canadian Immigration (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/publications/dmp-handbook/appendix-02.asp) it is written that

"five recent pictures taken within six months preceding the date of the examination and, where applicable, a negative for yourself and your family members (see section on photos in the instructions on how to complete the Application for permanent residence)."

I am not sure I understand the point about the "negative"

1. Should the photos be developed from a negative and not be digital?
2. Do we have to submit negative also?

Those who have completed medicals, I would really appreciate if you can throw some light on this. Thanks.
