As far as I know, there is no such clause Hari. We can complete our landing formalities, obtain PR card and then travel to our homeland in case there are any loose ends to tie, before we return to Canada again for long.

BG checks are going in Ahmedabad at full swing for NOC 3142.Around three members got it today...All have submitted PP to NDVO.

Any idead if they are doing BCs for other NOCs as well and if any idea or any gueses for how many days BCs will go on in Ahmedabad??

because as much as i know it has been going on since Wednesday...

sigh.... :'( whats wrong with my file...i just keep wondering...trying to keep my hopes alive week after week....this week is over.....will I hear good news next week? People are already buying tickets, making plans for moving etc. I try hard not be envious . I am happy for all . Its just that sometimes I get driven irrational and unreasonably anxious. May be I should take my own advice (given to others) and teach myself to calm & cool. 8)

Dont worry mate. the BGC's are happening for real... there is absolutely no doubt about that, the worst part being the checks happening after PP request and RPRF fee encashment. but then, genuine applicants who haven't submitted any false information have nothing to worry about. As long as you can explain your position, you dont have to worry about it. ATB

Now after glaring at my visa and going through each and every word in my COPR and accompnying documents, the feeling is sinking in.... Planning to land in july this year in Toronto.

Being through this endeavouring journey, Please do let me know or PM me in case I could be of any guidance to any one of you as without the lovely people here, this application process would have been impossible and now it is time to give back...

for passing on time to refresh the mind and to get back the motivation : I personally suggest to watch these movies -- Shawshank Redemption, Pursuit of Happiness, Cast away, Gladiator, A Beautiful mind, The next three days, Saving private ryan.....the list goes on.......

Could you clarify that we can send PP,RPRF through Bluedart or through VFS?

Is it true that if you have to send it through VFS we need to get the request from NDVO only then can send through them else it has to be through private couriers?

I havent got the MR yet but trying to get clarifications!!!
