akashsar, very sorry to hear this. The program will hopefully re-open soon and will be much faster. Yeah PCC is really a painful process especially if you have been to many countries in the past. However, you don't have to obtain the PCC for any country unless you have stayed there for more than 6 months continuously. See if that reduces your load any bit.

Thanks for replying and letting me know about it more. I did travel and stay more than months. It seems I have to get the PCC for each of those countries.

1> I have registered for me and my wife for CIIP program today.. Hope to hear back from them on a date for bangalore session.

2> I am applying for PCC today

3> I have got an appointment for medical on monday 17th Feb

I also have a question

The RPRF is it 28,900 rs for me and my wife included or is this amount for one person only. Also the DD should be in favour of "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi.

Pls clarify.. thanks

In my case, after the mr request, we did medicals, except wife's xray. Doc gave us a pregnancy deferal letter to submit to embassy. After the delivery we complete wifes xray... the medical will be pending till complte the xray...

Hi..I was in similar situation...I waited for 20 weeks to be complete and then did xray for my wife using double shield...I also used one more shield which i hold around her back at the time of xray...so my advice to you to wait as long as possible and then do the medical just 10-15 days before the last date of medical submission....the more mature is the fetus the less riskier is the xray... and yes xray in first trimester is a big no....so in that case do medicals except wife's xray and submit pregnancy deferal letter to embassy.......
