Hello seniors,

I'm in a dilemma, please provide feedback...

So a couple of days back I noticed my online status had a 2nd line added to it saying- " We started processing our application on Feb 4th 2014"

Today I received an email from NDVO that says:

Dear applicant,

Please find attached correspondence which refers to your application for permanent residence.

Kindly read new Medical instructions carefully - Medical forms and instructions have been emailed to you separately and you shall recieve the same in due course of time.


But the subject of this email contains someone else's application no. and name. There is no mention of my application no. and/or name anywhere in the email.

I'm guessing they either wrongly sent it to my email address instead of the "quoted person" or they copy pasted the email and subject content from another applicants email and sent it to me without editing...

Anyone else came across such a situation??

You are right. Infact, they should not do a BG check once they have enchased the RPRF DD which is suupose to the fee for permanent residency. I had also read somewhere on the CIC website that they do not give a negative descision once the RPRF DD is enchased. Though, I dont remember the link

This is shocking as there are chances that person is on leave.In this case the member is on leave and NDVO guys are not convinced and even said you people fake your experiences blah blah...very sad situation.They are not convinced why the physio is not in the clinic during working hours.

As per the forum member the BG check was more sort of negative.

Received today Passport with Visa and COPR.

Interesting situation. if possible please let us know the initials of the "quoted person" so that if he/she is one of the forum members they can respond (and feel happy too!!)
