can the seniors help me on a query i have: I see my status in CIC portal as "We have started processing your application on Jan 30,2014"------------
What does this mean and when can i expect a Medical REquest, Grant/Rejection?

What does this mean and when can i expect a Medical REquest, Grant/Rejection?

You have to get another email informing you of your qualification (PER- Positive Eligibility Report) or NER -Negative Eligibility Report. Basically PER confirms that the documents you submitted meet the minimum criteria of acceptance with 67 points and now they can proceed to the next stage where they might send the paperwork to the local Visa office that will also re-check the paperwork to ascertain your eligibility. The local office may/ may not issue another PER by email. At this stage you may receive a MR and or RPRF or both at the same time after which background may proceed culminating on the issuance of PPR.

congrats ...u can expect your MR email in next 10 days...normally it takes around 5 to 20 days from the date your second line is added to get your medicals...keep checking your email

Thanks 20July2011 and Three star for the prompt response. My manager is unaware of my Immigration plans. I f any BG does happen, am likely to be screwed. What are the chances of a BG happening and what is the pattern?

Tomorrow I am going to pay For FSWP Credential Assessment under NOC 2146 my ECA verification using WES Services.
It was mentioned $316.40. Iam from India. Weather I need to pay Canadian Dollar or USD. I am planning to pay using Credit Card.
Please help me on this

If using WES Canada site, then the money will be in Canadian dollars otherwise it will the US dollar.

damn care for your manager bro.....but its very rare..may be 1 % chances of BG verification....but stay positive...hopefully u shd get it without any BG check.....don't think much about it....just wait for your email
