For those who have not received MR from NDVO, what do we do next. Should be send an email asking for update.. Seniors can you pls help us understand if this is normal that delays are evident. Why is the status also not getting changed on the website. Does it mean they have not started looking at these applications..

I mean there shoud be some update atleast.. NOt sure where we are stuck here.

Any guidance would be really much appreciated

Chances are cap won't reach till April.. and you may get ECA report in 10 days if ordered exedited delivery. In the meanwhile you should gather all your relavent documents and start filling application forms, so you have to just attach the original ECA report in the file once it is received and thus file can be sent immedately.

PCC from UK is very simple and systematic process..they have 2 options..standard and fast track..

Standard process takes about 3 weeks. The PCC will reach you within 3 weeks (mostly earlier but not later). We applied for standard process but sent our forms through courier and requested to receive it through courier. Indian postal service is not reliable at all :-[

Fast track process take 8-10 days for the PCC to reach you.

I would suggest you apply for PCC and if you have not heard from the VO requesting for it then you could send it to them with a detailed covering letter mentioning your file number and other details.

I strongly believe that we should write Case Specific Enquiry to NDVO. I have already asked my consultant to do this for me. We have all the rights to ask for the status update after 6 months from date of application.

hey ... i am not denying that ... It was the HDFC employee who told me that the CAD DD cannot be issues if payble at Delhi.

for en-cashing a CAD DD my consultant told be that the beneficiary must have a CAD account ...and I am not sure if there are CAD account holding banks in India.!!!! So better to have a Indian amount DD/payable at Delhi and easily traceable.
