I am May 15th Applicant , NOC 2174.

Still waiting to hear from NDVO . Recivied AOR on 10 Sep.
I even have Canada work experience .

the only thing worrying me is the early may applicants from may 5th to 15th who havent got medicals yet didnt come up with any updates...... so wots goin on.... do u think they havent got any sort of communication from ndvo?????

I was just thinking if your husband provided notarized reference letter from his immediate manager but not on company letterhead. It might alarm NDVO to check if your husband and his immediate manager are really working in the company. Just my thought.

Since the consultant is a registered one, we do not get updates directly. The consultant gets the details and his mail and contact details have been provided. Even if I try to send a mail, they might contact the consultant or reply to his mail id.
I am really caught up in this situation which is very tensioning.. Though we have got all the papers very genuine and also my husband and his reference person met and spoke, we dnt knw what is really going on...

No It was all on the company letter head. And my husband is working in this company for last 9 years and his boss for last 12 years..

It would be of great help for forum members if your husband can summarize the points they discussed with your husband's manager and also with your husband during face to face interview.

As you may be from VISA stamp exempt countries, hence you may not be required to submit the passport.
You will just receive COPR from embassy. Anyway, Congrats for happy ending of your journey for receiving PR.

How did u get your UCI without PER???

Hello!
I have received the "confirmation of permanent residence" document today. I was expecting to receive a passport request. But the letter that accompanies the document say that: "Since December 1, 2011, we have ceased affixing visas in passports of applicants for permanent residence whose applications have been accepted and who are from visa exempt countries, which is your case."

I didn't know about that, and since I don't need to send the passport to de visa office, all this process has finish for me now.
I what to thank everyone in this forum, knowing the experiences of others doing the same steps I was doing to get the permanent residence has been extremely useful. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Congrats digit. Since they have updated DM after MR they r gonna give u your PR soon. Don't worry they will ask for your passport soon. Guess once they get it they may stamp the visa and send it within 2 weeks.

I recd mail today from CIC that my file was returned on 08 Aug as Incomplete m so much depressed my IELTS also expiring next month so if want to reapply i had to give IELTS also and wait for result. Pls admins update my status in spreadsheet
