Hello everyone

Good infor from Mr.Chohen

But as he cited in his first point, Travel hisotry
I did not find any travel history in shcedule A background declaration form
Education and personal history is available.

Here my doubt is, I worked for company "XYZ" from 2011 Nov to 2012 Nov

In between i.e 2012 Aug I took one week vacation to my home country India

It is obvious to have vacations in between job period.

I need to mention like 2011/11~2012/12 XYZ company
in personal hisotry

or
I have to break it I mean
2011/11~2012/08 job title/Activity XYZ company
2012/8~ 2012/08 Vacation XYZ company

But the short vacation periods I addressed in sectiion 12 in detail

I dont understand whether Personal History belongs to Working / not working only

Please throw some light

REPOSTING URGENT QUESTION AS IT MAY GO UNNOTICED, I BADLY NEED YOUR HELP GUYS!! REPOSTING URGENT QUESTION AS IT MAY GO UNNOTICED, I BADLY NEED YOUR HELP GUYS!!

Hi All,

I'm just new to the forum and I have a quick question. Would anyone know or have insights on the following:

1. Does having a UCI # mean that the application has been opened/checked?
2. Do all applicants whose applications been returned have UCI #s?

TIA.

Send them only when CIC asks. You might not receive any acknowledgement from CIC if you send it before they ask.

Many May applicants from the first two weeks still haven't received MRs from NDVO. Going by the dates we should have been among the first ones :(
Any theories?

No .. I have not received my PCC req from CPP-O yet.
I am trying to make the PCC ready so that I can give it to CPP-O
whenever they ask for it. I have stayed in 5 different states. But
only 2 of them have a stay period of more than 6 months. That
is the reason I am asking if anybody has been aksed to provide PCC
from the individual states. I do agree that FBI certificate should
cover the entire stay in US.

Dear islandbabe,

There is some kind of misunderstanding involved. Welcometocanada is worried regarding the health and safety point of view that Doctors normally advise not to travel after 7 months of pregnancy but you are answering with regards to legal point of view that it is legal for a pregnant woman to land in Canada on PR visa even she is 9 months pregnant.

I understand that if pregnancy is quite mature then physician may not go for X-ray which will be postponed till baby is delivered. Therefore, no one will get PR visa before the birth of the baby and hence no case of travelling and landing to Canada involved during pregnancy period. But if somehow medical is completed, then it will also be possible to travel, I believe, in that case, Welcometocanada must plan to travel and land in Canada immediately after getting the PR visa.

As per my understanding, having UCI number allotted doesn't mean that application has been opened and checked for completeness and eligibility. I believe all applicants whose Generic Application Form for Canada is scanned and recorded in their system, get UCI number allotted. Many applicants reported that they received back their applications due to CAP filled and they got UCI number allotted. And off course, after CAP is filled, CIC wouldn't check the application for completeness and eligibility but they are still allotting UCI numbers as they might be scanning only Generic Application Form for Canada for those applicants.

The FBI cert should be enough to cover all of the US. If CIC wants certs for individual States - they will ask for these later. Usually they do not need them.

I quite agree...if your spouse is pregnant and you get your PR land as soon as is possible, plus it takes about 3 months in Ontario to get public health care maybe even longer, so land as soon as you can. Well where the health risks are concerned I recommend going with your doctor's recommendation, many women travel at & months or after BUT alas do so only if your doctor deems it to be safe.
