I am planning to apply under the 2013 Federal Skilled Worker Programme (FSWP) for economic immigration to Canada. All my documentations are ready to be sent to CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada but I need some clarifications on my IELTS test score below.

IELTS Test Score for English Language (the first official language)
Listening: 7.5
Reading: 7.5
Writing: 7.0
Speaking: 6.0

Overall: 7.0

Q1a: Is my total score 16 or 21 out of the maximum 24 points achievable for the first official language under the FSWP for 2013?
Q1b: Is the CLB level and points calculated per language ability?
Q2: What is my CLB level as my speaking test result is quite low? Am I CLB 7 or 8?
Q3: Do I meet the minimum CLB level requirements?

Hmm, In my opinion, the stamping might be done at local vo's only

PR, Student, Visitor Visas ....all are printed in the local VO and are not sent to CIC. BTW i don't believe what the consultants say. They make money by saying what you want to hear. Don't underestimate the X-mas celebrations and New year holidays period in US/Canada embassies. In the last 10 days of December I would be surprised to see any major movement from NDVO. They will pick up steam in Jan.

My documents were received to Sydney Canada on 21 October 2013 under NOC 2131. My visa office will be London.
Can Any one tell me if my application will be included in the 300 cap as of today they received only 262 application under this category.

One week ago it was 244. the latest update is 262.
I hope currently they r charging September midweek applicants..
so still more than 35 days left to check ur application but only 38 caps left..So close.....

this is latest update form CIC (@ a month ago) you can get general idea form forum members (MI1 to till now) about remaining backlog with use of this. this is purely interpretation of the forum and this data

hello all i have a question popping up in my mind from few weeks :-\ thought to ask you all today..

as we all know there is cap of 300 ..so does it mean they send only 300 PER and after that they close taking files... and if that is the case ,what happen if someone's file get rejected at later stage like verification or medical...

it will mean if 1 person got rejected there will be now only 299 candidates remaining ..or will they again take 1 candidate from application received after CAP was fulfilled. :-\ :-\ ???
