Dear Freinds,

i got an e-mail from NDVO yesterday. I was hesitating to share it because I thought, it has no worth at all. But now I realized there could be some meaning of it and dear forum members can draw some conclusion out of it. So, I am sharing it for all of you.

Content of the mail is like this...

"Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

We have received the requested information/documents and your application is currently awaiting review by a visa officer.

At this point there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the review is complete, the next steps in the processing of this application will be determined and you will be advised accordingly."

I had inquired NDVO on August 13th which was before receiving my AOR and I got my AOR on Septmber 5.

I doubt is whether this mail is just a reply of my inquiry or it signifies something more. Since I got it yesterday, and our application is awaiting review by a visa officer, then MR is not near to us. Can I conclude on that note or any other opinions you people have, please share.
Thanks for sharing. It seems bit frustrating. U r 13th may applicant and still awaiting review by a officer. So I can say that those 3 cases of NDVO MR is something special. There is something behind the scene which is not shared.

Thanks a lot Brother. I still have to wait for PER, the most important phase at CIO to check the eligibility of the applicant. I am confident that I will get it with the Grace of Almighty Allah.
Anyway, you have to offer a party for all of us (who wished for you) after getting PER in hand.

Dear Members,
Please be logical and don't let your spirit down.
Below is just my thoughts about the processing style.

Let me explain, as soon as files are transferred from CIO to respective Visa office, (say for Eg NDVO), NDVO will acknowledge the receipt of the file and will sent the AOR letter.

Then after, files will assigned to Visa officer for the review and simultaneous background checks. After the review is complete, files will be forwarded for the Medical section to issue to medicals. After medicals have been received by CHC, Medical officer at CHC will review the medicals and will forward the file for the Visa stamping.

The main key here is their will be multiple Visa officers. To get it clear, say
Visa officers(VO) are A, B, C, D, E.
Applicants are E01,E02....E15.
Now, VO A might be assigned E01,E02,E03
VO B might be assigned E04,E05,E06 and so on.
Now, depending upon the workload of VO's, review will be completed and applicant will hear accordingly. Hence FIFO might now be followed.
Hope this suffice.

Correct, a question if we are trying to understand their org structure.

Are there different departments and hence separate officers like VO, Medical Officers (@ CHC) and Visa Stamping Officers etc?

Does any previous year's GCMS notes gave any clue?

Don't really know how it will impact our application, but out of curiosity.. :P

But yes, this explains FIFO not being followed; may be.
