It require 4-5 days more than CC. You can ask to the bank about its clearance or wait for 1-2 days more.

Thanks alot. I did call them but they said that it depends on the banking system in Canada. I will have to be patient a little longer. Hopefully i get a positive response.

Bank can check whether DD encashed or not. I also sent DD, days between DD charged & PER was 7 days ( due to Holiday in Canada).

Just this minute received PER - my heart skipped a few beats when I saw the email!

Bank can check whether DD encashed or not. I also sent DD, days between DD charged & PER was 7 days ( due to Holiday in Canada).

I will have to try to call them bank for clarification. I will have to give it the 1-2 days more and hope for the best.
