Hi,

Dear Users, I am looking forward for your expert opinion/suggestions..
I applied for FSW 2013 and got PER in Sep for occupation 0211, my visa office is London and uptil now no correspondence is initiated from their end.

After my application submission in June 2013, I visited canada on visit visa in July this year. Obviously this visit was not mentioned in the documents I submitted earlier with initial application.

Now, I want to know whether I need to update my forms? should I contact LVO or CIC as uptil now no corresponse or file transfer email received from LVO.

What to do in this case?

Thanks,

Sherry

I think you should wait until they will ask you for any update in your application. And LVO is not sending any email regarding receiving of your application. So We all are waiting for MR from LVO soon.

Dear frnds,

I'm 27th May applicant, now I'm waiting for MR and PCC request from NDVO. Actually I got my PCC in the month of June from Delhi Passport office, now when I about to receive MR & PCC request from NDVO, my PCC is almost 6 month old. So is it fine if I submit same in NDVO? or I need to apply again for Fresh PCC.

Please suggest....

Please provide your suggestion only if you are sure enough as your suggestion is most valuable and accountable for acceptance/rejection/delay of my case.

Thanks in advance for your valuable suggestions.

There is no harm in sending the PCC if it is still valid no matter how early is the expiry date. Infact there is a strong possibility that VO will not request to submit PCC again, hence quick processing as you may get MR directly.

Two of our four nos PCC were received after application was despatched to CIO. I waited for PER and sent remaining PCCs' about three weeks later than my PER date so that my file get enough time to transfer to LVO. Just include cover letter alongwith your PCC.
Good Luck

It's really strange that LVO is still engaged with 2010 and 2011 applications despite the fact that CIC put new immigration program on hold last full year for this very purpose ............ to clear the backlog. However considering the LVO deals with largest number of applications than any other VO, there is fair chance that they still couldn't get over with earlier applications and might take another 3-4 months to initiate responding 2013 cases.

Just for reference LVO deals with applications from Bahrain, Channel Islands, Denmark, England, Falkland Islands, Faroe Islands, Finland, Gibraltar, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Kuwait, Northern Ireland, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Svalbard, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, UK, Wales, Yemen.

The biggest relief is that per FSW2013 program, they have to complete all 2013 cases in a year. We hope that LVO would not take the excuse of handling larger applications to delay our cases beyond July/August 2014.

LVO is starting to get in full swing. Just viewed other thread & LVO is finalizing 2010,2011 cases rapidly. Considering this forum represents only 15% for previous years, lots of stuff is happening. I hope they do not get carried away by backlog and neglect 2013 applicants :(

Hi,
Plz wait until NDVO will not ask for PCC from you. CIC will not ask for the PCC.

There is no harm in sending the PCC (if you already have it ready) even if VO didn't request yet, if it is still valid no matter how early is the expiry date. Infact there is a strong possibility that VO will not request to submit PCC again, hence quick processing as you may get MR directly.

You should send your valid PCC to your VO instead of CIO. Just include cover letter alongwith your PCC.
Good Luck

Thank you all. I have one doubt about Police clearance though. Please provide you suggestions. CIC mentioned in letter that i need to provide:

"FBI Clearance: If your residence period in the USA has been six months or longer since
the age of 18, provide an original FBI clearance certificate for you and your spouse This
must be received at this office by: 12/07/2013"

In my case, I worked in USA for two years before coming to Canada & have already obtained FBI clearance from them but my spouse stayed there for only 3 months. Do i still need to provide police clearance for her as mentioned above?

Thanks, Gaurav

Hi Gaurav,

As per my knowledge, you will not require PCC for your spouse from USA. Bcoz, stay less than 6 month not require PCC

Dear Forum Members,

I am Sept 12 applicant and my VO is NDVO. With my application i have included PCC from Dubai. The validity duration in PCC is 3 months only. I have not entered Dubai again since my last stay there. So, do I need to request for another PCC if the date expires? What is the chances that NDVO may request for another PCC even if i did not stay since getting PCC. Kindly advise.

You do not need new PCC from Dubai until you enter there again so dont worry about it.

i agree to your words...i mean the fsw program was down for whole year. plus all NOCs in 2011 had a limit...so there would have been limited applications compared to earlier times. the only thing is that people qualifying under other different programs would have been sending their applications throughout the year....

As far as I see...i dont think the busy VOs like LVO,NDVO, etc. will be able to generate PR visa within an year of our applications...sad but seems truee.....anyhow lets hope for the best....:)

For those of you waiting for US FBI clearance, I submitted the request on 3 Sept and got my letter yesterday.

Please update my status
I have received an email that my file has been transfered to Warsaw office instead of Ankara and it got there on oct 4th

My heartiest congratulations to you Gaurav..... NDVO rocks...!!! Though your case is a bit different but still no worries ....

Just want to ask did u submit your PCC at the time of your application?
Can you update from which e-mail ID ...you received this e-mail....? from this ID - delhiimmigration@international.gc.ca .....???

Thanks in Advance...!!!!
