Yes even 17th july AOR applicant brijpatel didnt get MR ??? , am just thinking about timeline

I am 6th june applicant and just confirmed with my bank my DD is still not been en-cashed and till 24 sep cio has not returned my application,its very unusual condition and dont know whats going on with my application.plz seniors comment

Did you send them email or try to contact on phone. If not thn do this asap.

Hi Bro,
Even I have not heard anything from CIC. Lets wait until CIC replies. Try calling in CIC call center or email them once . I have sent an email, waiting for their reply.

I have rec PER and AOR (05/8 and 05/9) respectively.
Looking to MR situation and then after STAMPING ....should I renew my kids passport right now OR
should I renew it in MAY 2014. Plz guide what should i do?

I got their reply e mail on 10 sep saying .

this email to advise ur app has been recieved and awaiting initial processing.and then called on 24 sep and got the same reply.what they mean by initial processing and do u think my app has passed completeness check.

I think you hv to wait few more days as some time DD take long time cash internationaly. But this is my assumption i am not sure if this the case. En hope for the best

Hi

Please update your profile so that we can see at least some basic info about you.
For passport renewal , usually one can update/renew the passport withing the last one year. your kid passport exprires in nov 2014 so you can apply for the same on or after nov 2013. there is still provision if you say you want to renew your kid passport
due to photo visibility issue (something like that) then passport office consider your application and may issue another passport at this point of time. once you get it then update to your lcoal vo about the new passport of your kid,send old and new passport copy.here old means copy of first and last page having cancelled stamp on it.

now,if you dont apply for the passport at all.
cic has condition related to passport expriry and that i guess six months. most of country is having six month criateria.
if your passport is valid for less than six month then they will ask you for renewal and then release visa on it.

considering the above situation, you are haivng time till may 2014,if you get visa with your family by that time then no issue.but if they demand passport after may 2014 then you MUST have to submit updated passport.

I would suggest you to wait till november 2013, if you will get medical by that time then send then current passport of your kid. if you wont get medical in nov 2013 then update passport and send updated details to your lcoal vo.

as you know from medical request new delhi forum, medical season fall for NDVO in September. I would say AOR and MR will start in NDVO in October because of below reasons.

1. in FSW program , the list of occupation is highly in demand in the market of Canada to meet the shortage of skills and also to leverage the economy. Therefore,
2.FSW2013 is alywas given a high priority with respect to previous fsw programs, similary as you know for fsw2011 was given high priority than 2011,2010 ext.
3.NDVO need to clear only 1500 max cases to get the spaces for FSW2013 applicant belong to NDVO because there would be approx 1500-1800 applicant under fsw2013 who belongs to NDVO. so NDVO need not to wait to clear the entire backlog of MI1,2.., they just need 1500 spaces and once they create it they will start processing fsw2013.

I am just guessing this after comparing their way of processing method in past.but this guess is correct technically!!

...can only happen in a super fast scenario,....which to me seems unlikely due to certain reasons. I would advise the gentleman to get it renewed at the earliest, cheers

If possible renew now,
another reason is photo, as its kid's passpost the photo must be differing so better to have new one. how much time is required to renew the passport in your country?
do not forgot to update the change to local VO

I hope for the best, but again I can't understand reason of pause on AOR form NDVO for us.

Dear ESZB,

Did you actually receive the mail which CIC is claiming to be sent on 25 Sept 2013 or not? This is happening to many applicants.

CIC is saying that they have sent the mail, but it is not received by the applicants.

Please reply.

It was the same for me. I did not receive any correspondence after my CC was charged. On 23rd Sep, CIC forwarded an email which I was supposed to receive on 12 August. I think one of 2147 applicants needs to have a quick look on CIC email servers as soon as he gets off Toronto airport ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hello Vats!!

I have applied under 2147 category this year & received PER on 26th August. My passport will expire in may 2014 so i have to renew it asap (with addition of spouse name). Also, i got married in February 2013 so my spouse passport need alteration too..regarding surname, address & spouse name.

Queries are:

1. Should i move ahead with these changes ?
2. Or should i wait till AOR or MR?
