I got DD charged with some receipt number provided along with a line mentioned ""Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed"...."Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing."
Please let me know Is this PER confirmation?...I got two numbers provided in email..One clearly says UCL and the other just says application EXXXXXXXX.....wat is this number..Is it file number?..

If i was you mate i wouldn't celebrate till i atleast have a PER mail. As you can read through, going by some of the recent examples even CC charged is not guarantee to PER. Without sounding too negative we even had a case in 3142 where an applicant got PER and then rejected from the local visa office because apparently they thought his points dont add up. So... go easy at this stage dude!!

Point taken !!!...I might have sounded a bit excited...I know there is a long road ahead with many hurdles to cross before reaching the final destination...But the reason for my little joy was that this is my third attempt and first time I have managed to get in quota...so tears of joy... :'(

file Number will be issued by the VISA office starting with B054xxxxx
wait for the next updating document request from the VO in 3-4 months.

Dont read this with negative frame of mind : this is just for knowledge -

just by getting UCI doesn't guarantee an approval or AOR/PER - VO designated to handle a specific category of file does re-evaluate the file with local investigation skills and knowledge thereby applying points based on how genuine is education claimed for - work experience claimed for - there is lot of checks that undergo before its determined an applicant qualify -- Post which celebration can be done

This is PER confirmation.
Look carefully in the mail. As per my case, The mail clearly define that the number mentioned below date is your application number.
However you can login to your ECAS status using many information. Just check and you will get idea about it.

I think this shouldn't be a problem. One of my exp letters was missing this info as well....

As per my experience and suggestions from friends,

What you can do is , you can send a hand written declaration indicating the signs of your job being full time in any of your employment letters submitted with application. all this only if CIC ask for it.

Generally what guys do is, prepare a standard letter of reference and send to all previous employers (HR). And request to give same letter on the letterhead with signature. Generally they accept and do it. If they refuse they we have to manage this with hand written clarification note/letter addressed to visa officer and attach same in the application.

For your case, dont worry now, if CIC will look for it, they will ask you.

My Friend, My application reached there on 28th May and PER received on 16th Aug.
Still waiting for AOR form NDVO.....
