Dear Friends,
one question about PCC.
I lived in an African country for 2 years but now I returned home. However I forgot to et a PCC from there.
It is impossible to get a PCC from this country if I am outside and going back there is not even a subject to think about.
I have a clean record there but it is hard to get a visa back and also it is impossible to ask for PCC from its embassy.

How can I explain this to CIC ?

I don't have any account with the bank I made the dd. I made it by cash. So the bank can not give me any information..

Hellow Raz002vp, wish your good luck . hope you get good news by this week. Raz can you tell me from which bank you made DD ? I heard that CIC only accept SCB ( Standard Chartered Bank ) DD ?? Pls. inform me it will help me and I'm getting ready for next year NOC 2147 ( ECA and IELTS is in my hand )

It is hard to explain Cic about this so better try to get PCC through embassy.

I told them they said I have to say the from which bank account. Can I call CIC ? which number ?

Quickly update the bank because CIC will try it again for sure.. I heard from one another forum member sometime back that they tried more than 3 times

Call your bank and tell them about cic fee.

Dont wait till tomarrow call now and check reason for rejection, and ask them to accept it if cic tryes again, next attempt may be ur last chance. They will try again tomarrow morning..

Yes cancalling is rite CIC will try to charge your credit card again
You better call your bank and straighten things up

It will give you options (i dont remember them) but u can
press 1
Again press 1
Then 2
Again 1
Thena again 2
Again 1
Then they will ask u for ur UCI THREE TIMES DO NOTHING
then ur call will b transferred to their agent

Calling CIC will not help. Call your bank and give them very clear and strict instructions that there will be a CC charge for XXX amount in CAD and hence DO NOT BLOCK it.

It happened with us, I was on phone with the Bank call center, till the time they gave me confirmation, that the next time CIC tries the transaction will not fail.

CIC tries again the next working day. Don't wait , call your bank NOW !

1St call ur bank, since cic has made the 1st attempt, bank know the from which account they will charge again... definitly the cic will try again... in my case they tryed 3times... better send email to bank as well to keep a record of ur request.... calling cic i dont have hope...
