I'm 27th May applicant, my CC was charged on 1st Aug, but I never heard anything from CIC :'( . I obtained my UCI over phone on 19th Aug. and sent them a status inquiry email on 29th Aug. I am expecting to receive an explanatory email from CIC by the end of this week (20 working days).

I advise you to call CIC if your CC/DD has already been charged. Also as they do not disclose anything about your application, but your UCI number, it is highly recommended to send a status inquiry email to CIC asap.

Please note that you need to mention your Full Name, DOB, UCI on the email, or they will not respond to you at all.

Hi bhFSW2174, I don't want to be rude but when I checked revision history of updation done by admins from Sep 10th till Sep 20th then ur name appeared only once.

Asking members to update their missing information is good thing but at the same time, updation need to be captured in spreadsheet.

This is a part of automatic response message from CIC "if you are the applicant and you provide us with your full name, date of birth, and a file number or Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) client ID, ... , you will receive a reply by e-mail within 20 working days"

What inferred from the above message, is that providing UCI is mandatory.

I have not received any reply from CIC yet, but I will post it to the forum as soon as I hear something.

Would you please let me know when you sent the email, and when you received the reply?

my app received on 18th June 2013, no update till date.I sent enquiry email on 10th sep, i have attached scan copy of DD and delivery proof but did not mentioned my full Name and DOB. so do i need to resend the email ?? please advise.

If you read the automatic response which you received after sending email, you must have seen the following line: "...if you are the applicant and you provide us with your full name, date of birth, and a file number or Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) client ID, ... , you will receive a reply by e-mail within 20 working days"

So I believe that it is mandatory to provide Full name, DOB, and UCI or File Number on the email. 20 working days is equal to almost a month. So you need to wait until second week of Nov. or you can send another email with the required details just in case they would ignore your first email.

Why LONDON VISA OFFICE is such careless to send the AOR?

It is really frustrating.

London VO does not send AOR. They send MR. We r waiting for MR. Different VOs r sending MR and Passport Request. But London VO is going in a very slow pace. I wish they will start sending MR soon.

One more thing, I have received my PER with the UCI number on 23 of August and whenever I use my information in the online service it says sorry we were not able to identify you.

Did any one experienced similar issue or know what is happening.. I will appreciate you help..
