Please check guideline PDF from cic , I think I read that employment change need to inform local vo after getting AOR.
If it is not mentioned on AOR email though you should send them because cic guideline is baseline of procedure.
This is what I personally believe.

Thanks Vats.... Just got a bit baffled coz in the AOR.... three points are mentioned in case of any changes.... employment change isn't mentioned.... but will now surely send them the details....

Many newbies ask question like "will my application be within the cap" and some members do give their honest OPINION that they may not be within the cap. There is nothing wrong. Just simple input and output.

Exactly. It is better to give best possible correct information based on the facts, figures, stats and experience - which may guide the asking person in right direction. So, if someone filing for 2174 now and asking his/her chances on this forum to be in cap (when it is already full), what are we supposed to say?? Yes, you got 100% chance to be in cap? Being polite here might make him file now in false hopes, which is worse than accepting the facts and trying other options in time, right? Most senior people on this forum are trying to guide others in best possible manner. Big THANKS to all.

Can someone tell me does an applicant get a PER first or an AoR? Are there 2 AoRs (one from CIO and other from VO)? I have gotten a PER back in July, ECAs says its in process, my lawyer says my application is still with CIO, not yet transferred to London VO, although it is expected to go there anytime. So when do I get AoR? When its transferred to London? Or have I already gotten an AoR prior to PER? Or do I get 2 AoRs?

Apparently London VO does not sent AOR, how does your consultant know in this case your application is still with CIC? I firmly believe applications are send to Local VO, as soon as PER is received ...

You are right bro....its not mentioned in the AOR ...but yes its mentioned in the PER mail.... I have just now gone through it once again...
Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents.

Just a question to those who their application returned, (whether cap was filled or not): did you get an email to inform you before the application was received? and did the email say when the application was returned? (i.e was there a date of when they posted it)

Hey guys! I had sent an email to CIO about my application. Today i received reply from them that we have no record of ur application in our database. Whats this?
Application received at CIO on 3rd july signed by dexter.
It was through UPS courier

2ndly is the address correct

I called CIC twice at 0016139444000 and the two times male agent answered and said he couldn't give me any information about the status or about UCI number and said that I should call CIC in Nova Scotia. So this isn't the right number to call CIC from outside Canada?

Please advise me.

Luqi, had the same thing: that they couldn't find my application even though its sent. I think that means that it hasn't been put on the system, and its sitting somewhere in a pile, waiting to be opened (or at least put in the system to assign a UCI )
Thats my opinion anyway

guys, hold on!!! it's not because your app was receive that it will be in CIC system!! unless they open a file number for you which UCI, which means that they check your appl and all is ok for processing, you will not get an answer from the agent !!!even though physical application is there!!!
