Maina,

Do you know any other way for me to contact the CIC. I do not have a smartphone so can not call them using the mobile apps. I am based out of US. Is there anyway I can contact them from US? Also, if you know their email ID, appreciate if you let me know.

Call on 001 613 9 444 000. This is for Foreign Affairs & Trade Canada. But on selecting appropriate options, diverts you to CIC.

if you have put Computer engineer in 12.a and listed as Jn Design Engineer-ASIC/FPGA in 12.b, it should be ok i guess. Occupation listed should have relevant main duties that is close to 2147 NOC
Apart from that they would cross check your experience letter and roles/responsibilities.

I put Jn Design Engineer-ASIC/FPGA in both 12a and 12b +other Job titles in 12b

This is PERFECTLY fine. This is EXACTLY as stated to be done on Pg. 38 here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp#eca

My only question is:

It is clearly stated here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp, that:

2147 Computer engineers (except software engineers/designers)

You just need to make sure that your job is not that of a software engineer and/or designer. These are NOC 2173 jobs which are not eligible currently.

That's right. I put three NOC codes in my schedule 3 ..

Sorry I corrected & modified my sentence .......

You can use even three NOCs, if u work in three...no problem. But only those years will count in which you are applying.

Admins please update: application returned and resent, was received on June 14. Thank you. Although I can't find myself in the spreadsheet. ::)

You re-applied? What was the reason of rejection? What was your initial application dates?

Few of the updates that I found in last 7 pages have been done. If something is missed, re-post please. Thanks!

Yes, I reapplied because I used the old Schedule 3 form in my initial application. The initial application was received on May 6. The second package was received on June 14.
