As per experiences shared here, IVR update is a positive sign... your PER should be on its way .. hold on tight

What is IVR, as my eCase is also not showing anything.

simply call the number, tell the agent that i have an application in progress and i need my client ID no. She will ask you your DOB, Name and will search in the database.

To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number

hello friends i got my package back yesterday

....earlier when i got info from cic dat my file is returned on july 15.... dat time they also gave the reason.....
1. missing travel form
2.no birthcertificate included or secondary school record

bt when i got my pacage back ....both my n my spouse bc were there....i dont know why they didnt find birth certi or they hv find any problem in it.....

bt they also included a note ....
"if u r unable to provide ur bc or secodary school record which show ur date of birth n parantage ,please provide an affidavite which include ur date of birth...ur full name...n ur parents name......"


i am in big dillema ....wat to do now...?

the one thing i want to specify ...dat my birth certificate detail in english ....bt it is hand -written from authority....so dat is d main culprit......or what

Guys,

To my surprise, my consultant forwarded me AOR today (dated 27th Aug 2013).

Another point, I got AOR is a PDF file. In which format did others receive the AOR - In plain e-mail without any attachments?

Summary -

File sent - 05 May '13
File Received - 08 May '13
PER Received - 26 June '13
AOR Received - 27 Aug '13
Processing time mentioned in AOR - 10 months

Looking forward for your thoughts on it.

As my NOC 1112 cap reached. How long they may take to return my application package? Anyone here from Bangladesh/India got their application package back? In which way they send it? Normal post or courier like DHL/Fedex?

I got my PER on 26th August. Can someone confirm what should i use in SURNAME tab while checking online status of my application? as i am not having my surname documented in Passport.

just chill friend...just resend your application with self affadivit for dob and get it notarized, and also send your travel form. I see your NOC will not fill soon, so just relax. also make sure when you are resending your dd is valid for atleast next 6 months from your date of sending (second time), confirm with your bank and resend it. I am sure you will make it. Just don't quit...give everything from your end till you get the PR. winners never quit.
