[size=10pt]See I guess it perfect!!

NIRMAL , let me tell you , brijpatel got first AOR in July with time frame 72 months something and then he again got AOR yesterday and in that he got 10 months.

Let me tell you that early AOR was mistakes by cic so they re send it to those with correct timeframe that is 10 months.

In your case you have got first time recently so they haven't made any mistakes and they mentioned 10months in your case!

Now NDVO has started issuing aor soon most of people will get it and I am sure your cases willgetprocess in five months approx though they is a partial strike , the reason behind this is cic give high priority to fsw2013 processing under all types of immigration categories.

Now third , PDF or plain email , earlier it was plain email but usually consultant send you email converted in PDF format.

Now wait for MR!! Till then enjoy dude!

hi..i have a few questions :
1. if NDVO is mentioning 10 months time ..does it mean 10 months from the date of reciept of AOR or 10 months for total case processing time(ie from the date of reciept of application at CIC )
2. after recieving AOR in how much time does local visa officer enquires about job experience from the employer..does anybody has an idea of it ?

Dear friends,

I am 27th May applicant in NOC (2147). My CC was charged on 1st August, but I have not received any information from CIC until I called them on 19th August through which I obtained my UCI. Monitoring the fancy tracking sheet on which my data is also included, I found out that most of end May applicants whose CC were charged have also received PER email within 2 weeks after the payment. So I feel worried about my case. Do you suggest that sending an email would be of any help ?

Is fsw-centralized-intake-office @ cic.gc.ca the correct email address? If not please advise!

Wish you all the best of luck...

I'm having the same case as well as some other applicants too, not getting the PER even if Charged and ECAS updates ... I emailed them to the following address: cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca... the fsw-centralized-intake-office is a one way address I guess.

Hi Swordfish -

from my understanding:
1. Is it not mentioned in AOR as from when the 10 months starts, however; they have mentioned that "Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to, requires an average of 10 months to process at this office." This means that the 10 months starts from the day when the file reached VO (for candidate, from AOR received date).
2. Once the file is there at Local VO, they can trigger background checks at any time. I am not worried at all on background checks and I am sure no one should be - as long as the documents provided are genuine and true. The only impact of your file going in BG checks is delay of additional couple of months.

Cheers!

Well, I think you should try calling CIC too. Contact numbers can be found on FAQs on this site.

hello my husband applied for 0211 and application was received on 16 MAY. We neither got DD en cashed nor our application is returned. we tried calling them several times but to no avail, emailed them as well. Please let me know if anyone else from Pakistan is here on the forum who knows how to contact them for info. Its been like 13 weeks no update. my husband says that they might have lost the documents. Our application was received by Doug

Hello Red84. Please call on this number: 001 613 9 444 000. This is the number for Foreign Affairs, Trade & Canada. Then as follows:

01. Dial 1
02. You will get two options. Dont select anything and wait for about 5 seconds . It will then automatically say that listen carefully as options have changed. Then select 2.
03. Dial 1
04. Dial 2
05. Dial 1
06. It will ask you to enter 8 digit UCI number. But since you don't have this number, don't dial anything and wait. It will ask you 3 times to enter UCI number. Then it will say that it is transferring call to Call center agent.
07. When you speak to the call center agent, tell them that you have sent an application for FSW 2013 and that it is over 10 weeks that you heard any updates and would like to request status of your application. They will ask you your SURNAME, GIVEN NAMES, DOB and COUNTRY OF BIRTH. Then if there is a UCI number for you they will ask you to note it down.
08. You can then login at: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app= and enter your UCI number and details and track your application.

Tailored from one of another post - Cant comment on chances, but here is the theory -

Final Selection Decision at VO -

Determination of Eligibility through Verification

1. Once the file reaches the Visa Offices they are queued up for processing. Once the file move to the table, AOR might be sent out to confirm receipt of application at the VO and the Background checks and documentation checks are initiated for the application.

• Interview Queue
The VO may render a decision that, upon review of the application and supporting documents, the applicant is not required to
attend a Personal Selection Interview. If a Personal Selection Interview is required, the application will be placed in queue to await
an interview date. Your interview will not schedule at this time.
• An Interview Waiver
Within the correspondence of the interview waiver the VO may also request that further documentation be submitted. The
submission of PCC, updated forms, RPRF, Medical (In India PP request is also club with these docs).
• Refusal of the application
Upon the initial review of the application, the immigration officer may decide that the documents submitted do not establish the
level of qualification required by Canadian Immigration. And may be during the background check Work experience or educational
documents was not verified.

Selection Interview

1. The VO is entitled to request that an applicant attend a Personal Selection Interview if he/she has concerns regarding any or all of
the following:

• Authenticity of the documents submitted
• Truthful and total completion of the forms
• Verification of the information entered on the forms
• Clarification of the specific information provided to Immigration Canada

Note: The VO will not conduct and Interviews to assess language ability.

Under the new regulations, selection standards are more objective and clearly defined. It is expected that in most cases visa officers will be able to make a decision to approve or refuse an application based on the documentation provided by the applicant without a election interview. However, in some cases, an interview may be necessary for a number of reasons. Especially, if you do not meet the pass mark in effect and are applying under “Substitute Evaluation”, you are more likely to be called in for an interview to decide if there are reasonable grounds to exercise positive discretion

Purpose of Interview

If required, a selection interview would be conducted for several reasons:
• To verify the validity and truthfulness of certain information provided on the forms and documentation submitted with the
application.
• To clarify any specific information and inconsistencies.
• To clarify certain issues as regards to the background of the applicant and/or his/her dependents.
• To verify that the applicant possesses the necessary funds to settle in Canada.
• To confirm that the applicant is not inadmissible on security grounds.
• To verify if there are sufficient grounds to use positive discretion, if the applicant's point total is below the current pass mark.
• Under the new regulations, visa officers will no longer conduct interviews to assess an applicant's language proficiency or personal
suitability for immigration purposes.

Interview Waivers

At their discretion, visa officers may approve an application for permanent residence in Canada without holding a selection interview. An interview waiver will significantly expedite the processing of the application. Usually, well-prepared applications, which are complete in every detail will increase the chances of an interview waiver.

When assessing an application under the Skilled Worker category, visa officers will consider several factors before granting an interview waiver such as:

Quality and completeness of the application forms and documents

Proof of the applicant's English and/or French language ability

The applicant's educational qualifications

The applicant's professional qualifications such as quality of his/her educational background and work experience

The applicant's potential for adaptability, resourcefulness and motivation to successfully establish himself/herself in Canada

The applicant's overall integrity and credibility

Nevertheless, a selection interview may occasionally be required for even highly qualified applicants, as Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) officials randomly select such applicants to test the accuracy of their interview-waiving criteria for quality assurance purposes.

Rarely, it is also possible that after an interview waiver has been granted, the visa officer may change his/her mind and require the applicant to come to the selection interview or vice versa.

Would you please advise when your CC was charged and when did you send the email? Have you received any response from them yet?

Thanks and regards

Try with first name or middle name.

System will not lock your account even if you attempt multiple times if it won't work try not to add anything in it.

Hi,
My application was returned on 1st August but is yet to get to me. CIC is not giving any tracking number too. What to do?

Usually, how much time does it take the application to get to India from Canada ?

Well said.

1. It's an average time for all applicant. Some might be in less some might have time so mean is 10 months.

2. Ideally 3-4 months , but this is my guess or prediction!!!
Based on fsw 2011 , after getting AOR most of applicants got employment verification by NDVO in 3 to 5 months max.
