No CC/DD enchased in 1112 in last 2 cap updates but noc moved from 278 to 292. What the hell is this.

What do you mean what the hell is this? This forum is based on approximately 750 people sharing their details. There are billions of people around the world who don't have a clue about this forum ... This is not CIC official stats.

Dear Marko .. this's completely normal as due to domestic disturbances so Cairo VO is closed and files mostly will be processed at Ottawa this year and this happened in 2011 also .. so this is great news that ur file already transferred to the VO for processing ..
BTW can u paste us here a copy of the email u received as a reply and did u receive it from Cairo or Ottawa e-mail

They have reverted back in 2 days and have also asked me to submit the stated documents within 90 Days.
The correct format is written below.:

Dear Applicant,

Regarding application number: Bxxxxxxxxxxxxx

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.
Updated forms which are available on our website:

Some of the applicant has either gone cold turkey or has not actually received any update from CIC. The names of the applicants are sorted from oldest to newest for the month of May. Oldest being "Jig nesh" whose application has reached on 8th of May 2013 to "Samanis" whose application has reached on 28th 2013.

Can you please help the admins in their endeavour? I repeat PLEASE contribute by providing updates on your application.

I called CIC 3 times and only managed to get UCI, which I believe is assigned from my 2011 application. No other updates except for that.
Hopefully we all, applicants from the list, won't have to wait too long to get good news.

How does one get UCI number?

I've tried calling on CIC number but they say that they are just a call center and hold no information.

I've mailed them too but there hasn't been any response.

How to get my UCI number and where to check the status of my application ?


31st Msy.... 0211

Call at – 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback regarding UCI.

NOTE: Please don't directly ask for the application status, just tell them you have been waiting for more than 10 weeks, but there is still no update, And you also tried to send email to CIC but did not get response. Therefore, you are calling for getting your client id number so that you can check your application online by yourself.

Hope this can help you to get the UCI. Good luck and keep trying till you get the UCI.

I just got my UCI by calling cic, I am using DD so I have to visit the bank to verify whether my DD is encached or not..

I have a quick question: having a UCI number means DD has been encashed already?

My understanding of application process procedure follows following sequence:
1- CIC encash DD or CC.
2- Your application is updated into cic system.
3- UCI will be generated.
4- CIC send applicant PER email, with UCI and file number.

Please help to clarify whether my understanding is correct, thanks.

I have different opinion, considering 0211 only has 72 confirmed applicant, the chance of Jun 19 applicant to fill in 300 cap is very high..
