I think it is clearly mentioned somewhere that you need to have exp for particular NOC for a particular time period in last 10 years . If you have that minimum , you need not worry about additional exp letters etc.

Yes. Hope CC is charged and docs approved. Just that the IMM5612E pdf of CIC Point 12 says that for principal applicant, all letters of reference from employers during the past 10 years should be on the format required. Hope someone with a similar case got a PER. Anyway, thanks for replying.

any1 from the forum who sent application later then send other missing documents/original documents ???and receive acknowledgement from CIC regarding other documents sent later and attached them with application?? and then get any news of CC/DD encashed??

I would like to share my good news. I'm a 24th May applicant applying under noc 2147 and can confirm my debit card has just been charged.

congrats, May 24, that's what I wanted to see here

Some debit cards will work (like Visa Electron with cvv number on the back) if you manage to use them for pay pal for example, but this is very risky option, I guess it depends on a bank and the type of card you are using.

They also given me a Clarification Letter to avoid discrepancy on my contract.
I hope that would be enough.

I used a Visa debit card for my few and as you all know have been charged too. With debit cards what you spend is what you have on the card. All other features remain same. But there are charges too. My bank charges me interest when I use my debit card for POS transactions like that of few or arm terminal but they won't charge you when you spend online.

Well policies vary from bank to bank. Are you sure it is interest and not some service charges??

I say a campaign be launched in forum to seek recognition for debit card as a legit payment method! "DC" deserves a place with "DD" and "CC" as mode of payment. ;D
