First of all you can not hide that you have written a wrong birth date, as you are submitting a full zerox copy of your passport which has very correct birth date.

To do, let flow situation in its way, as one can understand this is a kind of mistake which you have not done intentionally and you are not getting any benefit by do so. Nobody, give you NER by having just this much deviation. My personal opinion is not worry, let your case finalised with some result.

Can anyone advise me about a mistake I have done on my application. On my additional family information form I have made this mistake. it's nothing but my brother's birth date. How can I correct it now? Or shall I be silent on this at the moment. Please advise me.. Thank you.

Since it is your brother's date of birth, I don't think there will be problem at the PER stage, since there is no document to compare the information you wrote on the application with.
But will advise you to rectify any mistakes as soon as your application gets to your country's visa office, because it may be detrimental to your brother's application process if you want to sponsor him or any of his family members in the future.

Thank you. It's not my birth day. It's my brother's birthday on additional family information form.

I don't think you have to worry about that for now. There is no where in the process that the information concerning your brother's birth date will be verified (maybe) until your file reaches your VO. You can update your VO of the correct birth date when you are sure that your file has been transferred there. For now, just be hopeful and keep faith!

I sent an email to VO to ask some question. In the response email, in addition to the answer to my question, there was a small notes section at the end of the email which says the below

- You are not required to submit your original documents while submitting your applications.
- Simple Photocopies of documents are acceptable.
- Notarized photocopies are not required unless specified.
- You need to submit your original police certificates and language results.
- Translations must be notarized.


As the translations of some of my documents that I sent to CIO, Sydeny were not notarized however I already received PER.
Should I now send the notarized translations to the Visa Office (although they did not ask me for this. Its only mentioned in their email under Important Notes Section.

Any suggestion / Idea?

but until PER it doesn't worth CC can be charged even if one gets NER.
And most of the guys , silent and non silent ,I believe are not sharing there NER info.

It's very disappointing that the number of silent observers is very high on this forum... after a cc charged if u provide ur details n say that the forum is very informative guys pls don't do this... as soon as u start reading the forum pls provide ur details to be add in the spread sheet.... only in this way the spread sheet will be more accurate n informative.... n that's how every1 can benefit from this forum... should be a 2 way process...
