Only if you have provided some proof of the date you signed is the real date, not previous one.
For example I signed my docs during one concert and then enclosed the ticket. Next step: you have to prove that after this date and time nobody touches your documents any more. I achieved this like this: I sealed all the docs in an envelope with a date stamp on it. Then I took one maple leaf from the nearest tree here (note the fact I user exactly maple leaf ) - just freshly torn leaf. And I put it in a plastic bag with these "zips" on top. So then they can easily check the age of this "dying leaf" via Carbon-14 dating method. I glued this plastic bag on the envelope with my stamp, so that if it got opened, the plastic bag would be destroyed. I printed a page of instructions how to open this envelope without ruining the "proof".

Unfortunately in the end they did not considered my date - 1st of April, but followed the receiving one...
P.S. It's a joke! No hard feelings!

I have uci and file number now (which was sent to me through email today ). But still i am not able to check the status on CIC site. Also what does file number mean in terms of progress of my application.

To all the Guys who asked to have their data entered into the spreadsheet:

Could you please check if everything is updated according to your requests? I have the feeling that not all the updates have been entered, probably due to a high number of these coming in.

Also, it seems that some people have not been charged although we are already past their "received date". I mean people whose applications reached Canada before May 22nd which seems to be a date CIC is processing now. Could you please share if you have been charged?

With these inputs we could have more reliable data.

In Most of the cases MSc./ MCA or MIT Degree from India I think is considered as equivalent to Bachelor's degree.
so at this point of time you cant do anything , accept the fact.

please help me.. i am so desperate please any one help me...
I have completed Master's Degree in Information Technology and Computer Communication from M.G university(Kottayam,Kerala).But in my ECA report by WES gven me as Canadian Equivalency Summary - Bachelor's Degree(4 years) only.
What should i do ?

Not 12th May but in fact just before 16th July whosoever have been charged should be in the update of 51 by CIC.
and this number as per our spreadsheet is 31 so almost 60% are in our forum for NOC2174. As the time will pass
this percentage may reduce upto 30% also. so on an average we can say 40%-45%.

try to estimate with CIC update (approx date as this update is of @ 12th May) and upto that time forum member charged
that will be proper

No uci I got it on phone and the email was my reply to my query send on 1 July . Not Per I think
