No way that can happen like 18 was off since it was Saturday and so are 19 and 20.....and people are still waiting for May 16-17 CC/DD to be en-cashed so I do not think this can be true info....

Hi Guys, I called cic again and was informed that the good news was that they received my
application on 10th May and was with a officer and the decision has not been taken.
Dear friends I would like to know the reasons which could delay the process for example no. of points ,employment history , travel history ,not including spouse IELTS(which I have with me now).

My case is similar to yours. My application arrived on 8th May, CC charged on 20th of June.
But still no email from them though status is 'In Process' with my old UCI.
Tired of waiting for PER email.

I followed the below procedure from outside Canada and believe me guys are better in providing info...Last two calls went to a lady and it was hell..

To know the status of your application by calling cic from outside canada
dial - 0016139444000
select 1 for English
then 1 for foreign affair
2 for immigration
call is being transferred to cic
then 1 for English
2 for status
1 for PR
8 digit client id number will be asked
listen the request 3 times without entering client id number
then the call is automatically transferred to an agent
agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc
then agent will check in the system and shall give feedback

Apologies for not giving full details before. I received an email today mentioning my UCI number and application no. The email mentioned that I have received positive determination of eligibility and that my application will now be forwarded to visa office.
