Hi Guys, I called cic again and was informed that the good news was that they received my
application on 10th May and was with a officer and the decision has not been taken.
Dear friends I would like to know the reasons which could delay the process for example no. of points ,employment history , travel history ,not including spouse IELTS(which I have with me now).

Good news is very close :)

Dear Islandbabe, jig..

And @ all seniors....

I think I should have used my credit card for the payment so that atleast it would have given me a peace of mind.

My application was received at 15-May-2013 11:30 am and another forum member application was received at around 1:00 pm (NOC 2174) so can I believe that I will be safe under the Cap Limit. Further, the application received at 1:00 pm has already been charged. S/he used CC.

I used DD and its really making me worried. Still I have a chance or I have to increase by level of anxiety...

Reason I am getting anxious is I have not seen single CC charges of 2174 NOC post 15-May-2013
Please advised

Forum Members who are having issues with slow loading spreadsheets could use this following link. It's an HTML webpage, faster loadings with fewer options. I would request all users to use this.

Update your bookmarks and save yourself from slow loadings :)

Wait 1 week more, you'll hear something for sure.

The DD is the most secure way of payment ( other than cash) however it comes with the disadvantage of not getting quick feedback when the payment is taken.(8+ days before update). No one knows for sure if/when the cap is/was filled. I don't think you need to go into full worry mode before late next week....give them some time to send you PER or on the off chance that the bank might update you on DD en-cashment. Try calling CIC though and see what they can tell you. Its pretty nerve-wracking that no charges seem to be made for the 16 and things have slowed down alot, but no one knows except CIC....As always ....its a waiting game. All the best.

Oh, I had received an email from CIO 4.5 hours ago and I assumed that it was an automatic acknowledgment as my resent email to them today got sent multiple times due to network or email server error.

I just opened the multiple acknowledgments and one of them was a reply to my email dated 25th June, when I sent them the tracking number of my initial application. The email says that the application has been received, its currently awaiting initial processing and that a notification will be sent in due course. They also mentioned a UCI number after Dear Sir/Madam.

I did check the online services and cannot login using my details. Probably cause they said in the email that the initial processing is not yet done. How did I get a UCI assigned in that case?

Staying hopeful. Thanks for the support and reading my posts.

attentions: Admins:

with all due respect, i think almost half of the posts in this thread should be deleted just to save time for real contributors and help-seekers.

i asked some important question earlier, but people didnt notice because of some unnecessary posts which is not in line of the intention of the posts.

This morning, I sent an email to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca according to CIC website. Since my CC was charged 10 days ago but I have not received PER yet, I really want to know the status of my application.

I do understand but do CIC follows FIFO method alongwith timestamp too. That is application received on the same date but which was received prior would be taken into process first ?

Will it be the way....???

Further, I am worried because I called CIC call center but all efforts were in vain

admins.....

please freeze panes and provide filter function for the head row in spreadsheet for easy access.......

I received my UCI number today from CIO. Alhumdullilah.

That is a BIG relief. Best of luck to all those still in waiting line.
