Hi All,

I am a May 15th applicant. I have applied thru a lawyer and he asks me to be patient. But I am not. I have 2 questions.

My mode of payment is Money Order not DD, any idea how fast MO will be encashed? and how to know it?

When I called CIC from the number mentioned in the forum, during transfer it says the toll free number is not available in my region (Singapore)


Can someone pls help me.

Yes this is the number. initially after selecting options, when it is trying to Transfer to CIC then it gives that particular msg

I'm Thomas, NOC 1112. My application was received on May10th. This morning, I got a call from ANZ bank informing me that my DD was encashed on July 9th...... I'm sssoooo happyyyy. Thanks to all for your sharing and kind encouragement, esp. our forum's admin. God bless You All!

I have the same problem when I dial from US. But I have found a workaround. When the system says "transferring to CIC" keeps pressing 1111111 quickly.

Stop once you hear a long silence. This will override the message you are getting and you will get connected to CIC.

Let me know if it works.

Hi guys,

Let´s analyze my case, please.

1)App received on May 8th
2)CC charged on June 24th
3)Email sent by WES on July 3 asking a duplicate ECA report to be visible to CIC online.
4)On July 3 report ordered, email replied to WES requesting to inform CIC about report ordered. 36 hours later , report completed.
5) July 10 email sent to CIC requesting my appl status.
6) July 16 Still waiting for PER/NER email.

Any idea what actions should I take from now on?

I am in similar situation, I can only assume the files have been set aside and will be revisited later. Have you tried calling CIC?

for 15th may out of 11 CC application 8 got charged. I think by (Wednesday)tomorrow cic would start working on 16th may application.

It's useless I couldn't get through. I'm afraid the only option It's to wait patiently but I'm not good at it.
