but I don't see any update on the “FSWP May 2013 Applicants” spreadsheet

also did I have to mention my self calculated points in my application if yes, where?

Please wait for admins to get in and update the sheet.

You dont have to put self calculated anywhere in the application. Its just for the spreadsheet purpose.

Hi luciferz888,

As per my research, CIC has changed its strategy. Its no more first come first serve basis. Though its not declared in public, they are actually looking for the best among the applications. That is why there is a huge delay in updating the applications received. If you happen to be the best applicant you might be lucky (Ex: What is the use of an immigrant who has all the points on table but would contribute to the economy only for few years.).

Hope for the best!

Can you please enlighten us on your research. As per the CC/DD charges for the forum members its all done as per the date/time stamped and not done randomely.

Good Tuesday everyone!

Let's have some good news today..CIC show us what you can do! (on the good side the new CIC minister has 790 tweets compared to 7900 of Kenney J. so let's hope for more action than words!).

p.s.:I feel our PER will come today as the money is finally transfered into CIC's account (for international transaction our bank told us it takes 2 working days to clear a transaction...)

hi sir,
Can you at least back up your claim and give us the details of your research? methinks that is the sole purpose of time stamping upon receipt of an application in CIC for them to review all applications. but then again, crazy stuff are floating and opinionated claims are posted around here :P Btw, if you're a CIC guy or have a connection inside the processing of application, maybe, just maybe I would believe you. ;)

I notice from the spreadsheet that quite a lot of applications received on May 13-14 that had DD mode of payment do not have any update in terms of fee encashment compared to the same date CC mode applications. How many more days should one wait for the DD based application encashment before assuming that possibly his/her application has been declined? My application reached on 14th may (DD payment mode) while the same date and even 15th may CC mode of payment applications stand encashed.

Moreover, I have not been able to get any information from the sending and beneficiary bank if my DD has been encashed by now. Is an email notification from CIC that the application has been received and fee enchased the only way to know if my application has been processed? Kindly advise.

FOR DD APPLICANTS:

Theres nothing much can be done for DD unless we hear from CIC.

1st option is to know from Bank about DD encashment
2nd Option is to email CIC and wait for reply
3rd option wait for PER

Lastly, to calculate what is the average DD encashment time through this form and wait accordingly.

I dont know what exactly the average enchantment time for DD at present, any estimates? ? ?

Not sure about the exact duration for DD encashment but if you see forum spreadsheet people got PER on average of 8-10 days from the day of application reciept at CIC.

I think its 3 banking days since for my case it was put for encashment on 10July and i received my PER on 15Jul in which I assume it was encashed duering that day since they will not give us PER unless our DD is encashed..

Congrats gwynemalazarte! This is what I am waiting, a PER from Manila apllicant who used DD. Kabayan, did you get a DD from BPI? Now I'm starting to monitor and wait for an email. It'll be alright to wait as long as the PER email will arrive.. Hoping & praying....

I am very pleased to say, can you update the spreadsheet to include Fees Encashed today ;D

This means other 13th May applicants DO NOT LOSE HOPE YET, keep checking

Yeah, and people are also good or bad, either smart or stupid and the world is black and white. ???
In the context of this community and FSWP 2013 I think 'Giver' and 'Taker' fits the idea as well the title. 'Good' or 'Bad' can't be said up front to someone who's really not know; 'Smart' or 'Stupid' again is a subjective and a broader matter; 'Black' or 'White' always seems racial to me so I don't use them; not here not anywhere, unless it's a about a movie or black sketch on white paper.
