Words cannot express amount of happiness overwhelming me ... since I just received PER with UCI end other data!!! ;D
I must admit, that was fast, I expected it in best scenario tomorrow or next week.
Anyway, I immediately went to my refrigerator and there was nothing to drink I wasn't prepared, but it will be nice weekend
How do they say? Thanks to audience, special thanks to my wife and parents and thanks to academy

I am waiting with you together and hope that you will receive your PER's soon, so we can all collectively celebrate passing this milestone.

“As a result of the actions taken by the Government to deal with the massive backlogs and unacceptably long wait times, FSW applications will be processed in approximately one year,” said Minister Kenney. “We will not be able to remain competitive and attract the skilled immigrants we need if we allow backlogs and wait times to grow again. That’s why we are capping application intake and focusing on specific occupations that are experiencing labour shortages in Canada. This will also help us transition nicely into the just-in-time immigration system of the future.”

I wonder when this minister of tweets, announcements and congratulations Kenny was talking about his new and improved Just-In-Time Immigration Process and that our applications will be processed in one year, did he mean only initial stage at CIC office in Sidney? :

Congratulations & Celebrations!!!! I am still waiting for the response, either the email I sent, or the CIC itself. My bank will get back to me tomorrow morning, but I am guessing they'll not have any info. For me, I guess, it's going to be next week along with other May 10th Applicants.

lol. Time is almost cut down to half in 2013 as compared to 2011 at CIO Stage. So we do hope that it'll be completed in 1 year IF local VO's does not delay them.

Wow, so they really improved a system a lot since 2011. Good for him, he is very effective minister and manager. ;D

And a very good entertainer too, he knows how to bring an excitement and anticipation in waiting process and make it enjoyable too.

lol. Time is almost cut down to half in 2013 as compared to 2011 at CIO Stage. So we do hope that it'll be completed in 1 year IF local VO's does not delay them.

With the current pace, it will take them MONTHS just at the CIO level. On one hand they want to fill the shortage of skilled workers, and on the other hand they are dead slow in dealing with applications.

Correct. Visa Offices will need to keep this pace too. They should not add 8 months just for Background checks then another 4 months after Medical just for requesting RPRF & PPR.

It has to be done in 6 ~ 12 months overall at most.

I just imaging feelings of those many thousands of people whose applications were canceled and sent back after a few years of waiting for any news from them.
At least for ours it will not take more than one year. Big improvement.

I think there is no update from them. I haven't heard anything from momad who I was speaking to recently. COG11 was a bit anxious about his app either today or yday. I don't know about Borojevic or RufiDoby. Hopefully, we will hear from them...
