Hi KewlCanada, welcome. What Noc are you applying under? Please feel free to add yourself to the tracker if you haven't already.

SO....I did use an additional page....I used main points to state the duties...here are some examples from several Noc categories. you can also use the info from HRSDC Noc requirements as a guide....but do not copy word for word.

-Developed & Modified Software applications

-Supervised Project development Teams

-Established Safety Standard

-Prepared Monthly Company P & L

-Filed Tax Returns

-Maintained System Database

Any of senior guys could let me know , how come suddenly
spread sheet got changed , I cant see the list properly according to increasing order of NOC's ? and many entries are missing suddenly

Guys I am applying this week , I need to know about form economic class federal skill worker
work experience section has few columns like main duties and the space is very small for describing
do we need to add separate sheet , just wondering what will be use of it if we are going to explain from our side

could you elaborate a bit like how short we can write in the form and how much should I elaborate if I add in a separate sheet ?

On March 27th, 2013 the Quebec Immigration Minister announced that the government “is renewing its rules relating to the intake of applications according to the immigrant class”. These rules, which had been set to expire earlier in the year, will remain in effect until July 31st 2013. After that time, it is unknown what will happen to the QSW and other provincial immigration programs.
There are three possible paths the government may choose with regard to the QSW program. It may choose to continue the program in its current form. There is also a possibility that the program will remain open but some rules or eligibility criteria may be changed. Finally, the government can choose to close the program for a set period of time.
Because the future is unknown, many eligible applicants are preparing their files in time to submit before the end of July.

I don't know what to expect myself, meaning if we are going to get passed the UCI stage or have the documents returned!

I applied for Criminal Rehabilitation in April 2013 based on DUI from 2004 ...
Since it takes god knows how many months to Criminal Rehab approval (if), we sent our documents for immigration to CIC, and said I have applied for Criminal Rehab already.
My wife is the main applicant.

Whether we'll get refusal straight away or not, we can only hope for the best!

I remember someone mentioned that they wont accept additional documents if they haven't asked for it, since you dont have a UCI it will be impossible to trace. I had a similar experience sending my Travel form and transcript with a cover letter but I guess that is of no use now. But on the other hand looking at the reasons for the return of Martha's application in the (Appendix C) attached, travel form and transcripts was not mentioned----again I am only praying.

The following reasons for which Application may be returned:

-Missing Details in generic form
-Failure to sign any of the forms especially Generic and fee payment forms
-Schedule A: Background declaration form
-New Schedule3 form: Economic classes
-Additional Dependent form
-Family Declaration form.
-Submission of two Generic forms in one Application without stating who the principal applicant is.
-Failure to specify your NOC code in the Schedule3 form
-You have provided someone other than spouse or kids in the application as a dependant and have not provided evidence to back it.
-Failure to indicate the Immigration office for your application
-You checked use of representative in checklist but have failed to provide the details using the use of representative form.

This is is what I got for Martha's refusal letter AppendiceC.

I will like to know from Martha if there was other Appendices apart from the Appendix c.

No, I just got the Appendix C. The whole letter was posted by Jigzyy.

Check the spreadsheet now...it just needed to be sorted. Not from either place. For 2174 definitely check the site. Ensure that the lead duties in your experience letters match the main ones for the NOC as per HRSDC.

well , I cant make any changes in my experience letter issued by my ex employer now
and there seems to be very thin line between 2174 and 2173 ,
although there are some jargons coding, maintenance , requirement gathering etc exist
in my experience letter , will they be ok , cause my ex-employer's HR manager as per the
standard policy and practices never allow any technical supervisor to write anything beyond (3/4) page

Islandbabe , will these jargons help me to some extent ?

But i dont understand harry got rejected because of spouse deatils not include in schedule A form. In the form i did not see any information like add spouse details etc. can please elaborate the total situation

I am in same boat with application and those exp letter sent already..I would suggest to provide additional letters from you explaining your roles and duty in detail. You can refer to the 2174 NOC description and pick things from there. Mainly 2174 is for those with microcomputer, interactive media programming exp..but you can always tweak your explanation in your own letter supporting the HR exp letter..

I would suggest give some time and carefully read what noc 2174 says. This will avoid potential rejections..

Gosh Soooo much happened. I am still out, just logged in [2.44 AM] to get the updates and woosh, 15 pages added.

Congratulations to Islandbabe, you deserve it JIGS1 and Huang [sorry for not writing full name] & to any other if they have been cashed.

I will remain mostly off in next couple days and will be back after the long weekend.

They have started to work on May 10th applications from Today. This is just what I know right now about my app :s nothing else they found about it yet.

I guess, I'll have to wait till the end of next week to actually get an update.

On the document check list it points out that if your wife is accompanying or not, Ishe would also have to fill out the form about her side of the family. But check the guide to be sure.
