Hay , Parcelforce took 7 days for my package which was supposed to be next day delivery. I am also going for a refund....thanks for sharing :)

I also used parcelforce (fedex) so you've cheered me up as at least I know their refund process works! - appreciate the info.
If I have to do it again from the UK I'm pondering TNT for which I've read the occasional article suggesting better results.

... and you're right, sharing the pain appears to be popular :)

I just hope I don't have to do it again. If my application is returned for whatever reason, I shall just accept it as divine intervention!

Bad considering Marta is in the US.
I'm in the UK (quite near to Nova Scotia relatively speaking!) and my 1 day delivery service took 4/5 days. I've put in a claim for a refund from the courier (Still, if I'm going to blame anyone for likely missing the CAP I'm blaming WES for a month lost)

Hello All,

Considering that I have only 20 days in hand to get ECA done (i.e when I expect my IELTS result :) ), which institute will be good??
I have read enough about the delays WES causes.
Looking forward for recommendations from people who have already got the ECA done. So what will it be

(a) Comparative Education Service – University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies
(b) International Credential Assessment Service of Canada
OR (c) World Education Services

What should we do to get the limit information asap: 8)
1) Contribute towards a fund to hire a detective in Canada.
2) Give him mission of stealing info
3) After receiving updates continue with our lives

Otherwise CIC is driving me crazy
:'(

@ callme2shy

I think (c) is still the best option. Of late, they have started taking long time (and also removed their 1 day processing option in the first week of May) because of the huge inrush of applications. I sent my docs on 4-May and received their evaluation certificate on 11-May (this is inclusive of all courier transits). For sending I used TNT and their return was through international express delivery. This quick response might be because I rolled the dice early May, though not sure if such would be the case today.

You will notice most (if not all) have or are getting their ECA done through WES, so don't think many will respond regarding the other two options. But need to wait a bit for someone who really has some experience with the other options.

I guess if you had the cash you could try all three! :o

:) you bet. I planned that but cash flow is restricted for future unforeseen events. :o

i do believe WES still the best one...coz they are still offering 7days service whereas others are offering like 10 weeks or more which is really funny...

Dont know, what will happen next, but i would like to share some experience and excitement with u:

I opened an account on WES on 20th Apr (No rush hour service was available there on that time):

I arranged my doc from the university within 23rd Apr 2013

Sent the doc to WES on 23rd April from Dhaka, Bangladesh.

then i have seen they are offering 1 day rush hour service and no option was found for modification of converting to that option. Later i called and emailed them several time. And my order was automatically changed to 1 day rush service.

Later WES received those docs on 25th Apr !!
WES evaluation done and Courier back to me 25th April

I received Report on 28th Apr on my home @ Dhaka.

So it took 5 days 23rd April-28th April (including courier time and Sat, Sunday) ...

Really those are so faaast...i didnt expected!!

My consultant advised me to go for UPS. I paid 3770 INR for it which I got from my consultant; it was his responsibility to pay courier charges as per our contract. :)

I used ICAS but that was in April. I am not sure how fast they are now but back then it was about a week and no hassles at all.

May be.. it takes one day from distant cities to international transits..

I too drove from my home city to Delhi for this purpose (350 KMs) - anyway I work here in Delhi so had to report to office on next Monday. ;-)
