My agent just replied she said it was already the updated version of forms that were used for my application. I just don't understand some information. I was not paying attention as to version of forms when I signed then. I thought the once posted on my account, version 06-2012, from the agency's webpage are once being submitted. Sorry for the wrong information provided.

I applied under NOC 2263.

In problem 1, I notarized copy of marriage certificate but did not notarize translation....

You did ok, the translation doesn't need to be notarized at all! If you notarize the translation of notarized document, then it's not the same as the original anymore so don't panic

Guys, sorry to ask about forms again.
But I really don't understand the Additional Family Information Form.
I have sent the Additional Family Information Form for myself (I'm the main applicant).
But I didn't send it for my spouse.

When I look at the form, I just don't understand how my spouse is going to fill the form.
The form states Applicant, Spouse, Mother, Father. So how is my spouse going to fill the form?
When she fills the form, does she puts herself as the applicant and who will be the spouse, mother and father?

Guys, I need your feedback on this?

Hey sir I used IMM 0008 (04-2013) E in my application. I sent them May 16th. I did not sign IMM 0008 (05-2013). Do I have the same case as Marta? Can't think straight now. It has been very stressful. Thanks

Please specify which form IMM0008 do you think you got wrong? There are 3 IMM0008 forms-generic IMM0008, additional dependants IMM0008 and Economic Classes IMM0008 Economic classes. Generic has the footer 04-2013 and economic has 05-2013. Marta's problem was usage of IMM economic classes 2012 instead of 05-2013.

Also can someone update my application received date to 8th May 2013. Lawyers confirm that it was received on morning of 8th.

I just received Canada's visitor visa (Multiple entries valid till May 15 2015) and I got the UCI number. Wondering if I need to get my application updated. Most likely i will wait for approval of my application and then request lawyer to get it updated. Any suggestion in this case?

Jigs11 is the one who should give first good news.. Praying God for others and myself... hope that I will write some GOOD NEWS soon after Jigs..

My consultant has cross verified the file and seems he has sent updated forms. Fingers crossed..

I am feeling nervous & bit excited at same time that atleast CIC has started working on applications. Of course sorry to hear Marta's sad news.. She must reply.

Guys, can you please suggest what will be the next step from CIC (in case application pass first stage). I mean how/what applicant will hear from CIC etc etc..

Oh yes, I have put request to my bank to check if DD is charged & I will get reply on Monday morning IST. I will post the results anyway.

Just a thought-I don't think that document checklist dated before 17th May and used for the application will be a problem.

In the format of the checklist that was updated first the only difference was demand for spouses' educational documentation. Evertything else like ECA, spouses' IELTS etc which became mandatory due to new rules was already updated. After two weeks receiving applications they realized they have one box extra regarding spouses' education which was not necessary anymore so on the May 17th they update the checklist and moved that box.

same thing happened to me. i immediately checked with my agent if the submitted forms are updated and they immediately sent me the scan copy of my docs.thank goodness, it was correct. i was unaware of all these things 'forms issue' that i did not care about the latest/correct version of forms to be used. it's just now that i realized how meticulous the CIC is when i learned about Martha's case.

i believe we have the same consultant because the forms on their website are also outdated

You have to submit Add family info form for you as well as your spouse. First you become the applicant and the other time your spouse becomes the applicant.
