I still do not get where you wrote it. In the FROM Y M or TO Y M or where you are supposed to write the complete address.
If you wrote it in TO Y M, it should not be a problem because this form is protected but not self validating, hence should not cause any issue. But if you mistakenly wrote it in FROM Y M or where you need to write your actual address, the app might be termed as incomplete.

Thanks Adrenalineforu for ur cordiality.

Dear Seniors,

I am filling the form imm0008_3e and am confused about the following clause:

"12) Your Work Experience

b)Starting with your current occupation, list your occupation within the 10 years preceding the date of your application. For each occupation, identify the dates of employment, your occupation, the appropriate four-digit 2011 NOC code, the number of years of continuous full time or equivalent part time experience, and a description of your main duties"

I am applying under NOC 2147 and I have 5 years working experience on the related occupation. But my current occupation do not match with any NOC.

So the question is do I need to mention my current occupation in the form or just the occupation which is related to NOC is enough?

Your comment would help me lot.

Thanks in advance

check with full NOC list wehter they in 24 list or not is ok
i think there must be NOC for all type of occupation (It may not be in eligible 24 but in generel there must be)

Hey

You need to mention your current occupation, and all the occupation you have had during last 10 years.

You need to have atleast 1 year experience in the NOC you are applying for in the last 10 years.

So it doesn't make any difference if you are not working currently under the NOC you are applying for.

Hope it clarifies.

Many thanx GMP_13 & Vats. But I am confused because in Guide 7000 (page 35 of 48), it said List only occupations that fall in skill type 0, skill levels A or B of NOC 2011, wish u will give a look on that and reply me.

You may go through the below mentioned link to determine whether your NOC falls under the Type 0, A or B.

Hope this will help you determine your current NOC code.

Let me know if you still need any clarification.

Friends. . .

If CIC update the complete applications only (means if after PER) than I think it will not be much useful to us. as people get PER @ 50-90days after. so the update might be of that time received applications. . . .?
in between there may few applications received which are not reflected in CAP due to not reviewed!!!!!

This is what i feel what are others opinion?

Vats

yup update is backdated it is not match with current time like CIC first update in 2011 received after almost one and half month for first 22 days... And one or two CAP gonna full that time only.. i remember CIC update till 22JUly'11 and marketing CAP gonna full in just few days....

So same logic and work culture this time.. IF CIC update in near future than it will for first few days not for till date....

the way i understood it is that the cap limit is for complete and qualified applications. if this is correct, it is most likely that they are going to check more than 300 applications for completeness. and those which are incomplete will be returned.

but the next question here is: will they get application to be on "wait list" if ever any of the first 300 applicants won't be able to do it up to medicals, etc?

Ya they should have stack of applications... and they working on application in FIFO manner...

You have two options here;

1) Write only those occupations that fall under NOC 2011 and go back until past 10 years. This will also mean that there will be some gaps between two NOC listed occupations if a non-NOC listed occupation fall in between.

OR

2) Write all occupations and go back until past 10 years. Leave the NOC category column with 'NA' wherever it does not fall with any NOC 2011 listed occupations.

My gut feeling is you should go with option 2). I do not see any harm with that, it's only that you provide extra information that will not be counted towards your eligibility and yes You need to have atleast 1 year experience in the NOC you are applying for in the last 10 years. if not all. So as long as you have at least 1 Year of experience which is listed in NOC 2011 and that you think will be counted towards your eligibility, you are good to go.

If you run out of space in the main form, write 'separate sheet attached' in the space where you are required to provide 'Main Duties'. Attached a separate sheet and write everything in the tabular form as you would on the main form.

One question here ? But to claim for points say for 6 yrs .Does all those 6 years of the occupation have to lie in that NOC ?

I think we should give a prize for the first one who will write about update here in this thread for such a great work and news!
Otherwise it would go to CIC personnel for great job they are doing for keeping their count updated and all of us happy. ;D
Agree.

Yes, only NOC 2011 listed occupations will be counted towards points, not total work experience (which may include some NOC and some non-NOC experiences) But at least only 1 year of NOC 2011 listed experience makes you eligible within a particular NOC you claim to have worked under.
Well this is not specifically mentioned anywhere but I have learnt this over some case studies in which the applicant's calculated points came out to be more than what CIC calculated.

The transcript request form is for University ....it will go to university ...you need to send your transcripts and copies of marksheets and degree certificate to WES, it should be duly attested by Registrar or Controller of Examinations.
