DD is having no validy. Drwan on HSBC toronto, and Issue date is 15 April.Application received is 16 May!

Please tell me what is scenario!! whats your understanding on this!

Application will be returned as the DD is not in the time frame they have requested! It's simple as that. It used to be not an issue before the cap was introduced. AFTER cap, they are looking pin point perfect applicants, and they can return an application with this 1 simple ignorance, because, they have someone who have followed all the steps, so why not give him a chance...

But of course, this is my understanding, anyone can differ

haha, good way to get an answer No issues as per my understanding.

Depends on when the application was sent.

Last day to send application: 14th May (you can argue that the guide mentions about when I sent my application, not about when you[CIO] received it)
DD valid for presentation till: 14th October

Now if CIO don't open the package and present the payment till October, then God help us ...

And if I'm not able to get work reference letter from my past employer, can I submit other documents such as appointment letter, give name and contact of persons that they can verify about my employment and duties.

Looks like you still have few days for this NOC. Remember, few days. As far experience letter is concerned. I think that should do it, do write a letter to let Visa Officer know why it is not there and why are you sending supporting documents.

BUT, before yo make up your mind, lets wait for few seniors to answer.

Dude! Its not some trick to get the answer from you! I gave scenario just to make you more clear!
Consider the date of sending application is 18 May!
Forget he validity of DD.

THE ASWER WOULD BE WHAT JIGZYY SAID! HE IS RIGHT.

THE INTENTION BEHIND POSTING ISSUING DATE IS TO MAKE PEOPLE NOTICE THAT DD SISSUE DATE SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAT THE 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE YOU SEND FILE. THATS IT!
