Hi Dream....so far it can take up to 12 days or more to get PER/communication from CIC. At this stage once a PER is received the file is transferred to the Local VO for medical request or additional documents request. What Noc did your friend apply under. Please encourage him to join ups here and add himself to the tracker.

Thanks for your reply Islandbabe. He is not a tek Savvy guy. I might have to get the information from that lazy butt and post it here.lolz. He asked me to check with some consultant about his situation and i found this forum. As per him, his DD was encashed on 8th July. and since than his status is showing " In process" but no PER yet.
Pls suggest if everything is going good or can we anticipate some hiccups as well.

Good News should be on its way.....Quite possible your email with Per will get to you this week , long before the bank tell you that DD is en-cashed as was also the case with Admin Jigzyy. Keep checking your email. You are still in the acceptable timeline for May 15th intake, so try not to worry.

Since you have gotten your PER. Then you wait for file to be transferred to VO, then as the email containing your UCI states you inform them of the change to you status and provide outstanding documents for your wife. Marriage certificate, passport info, birth certificate etc, so that she can be added to your file, also note that Your proof of funds needs to be increased to reflect funds for 2 persons, and depending on how quickly you guys move maybe even 3

No did not receive any email from cic till date, bank statement shows credit card charged for cad 1100 on 18th July.

@ Islandbabe and @ Moh Bas :- Dear how would we know whether payment is charged or not, if we paid in from of DD ?? bcoz in case of CC it will show in Bank account but how to know in case of DD ??

My method of payment is DD. Application Rcvd Date : 05/15/2013

I have not received any confirmation from Bank regarding encashment of DD but my online ecas with UCI shows In Process.

Further, I have not yet received PER. My online status started showing from Saturday.

Now, I hope positive new is in near future ?

Hi All,

Can someone help me to know how to check whether my application is received by CIO, Sysdney office or not.

I sent my application on 12th july through DHL and according to there track record is received on 17th July at 13:08 signed by Dexter.

But i didn't receive any conformation via Email.

wants to know that the details mentioned in spreadsheet by all users under Signed By coloumn is through courier tracker or they received any email.

no one has received confirmation mail from cic for their packages..
cic notifies for Per or rejection after 6 to 8 weeks

I believe that one can not know when a DD is cashed (correct me if I am wrong), you will have to wait for the email stating per. I think the average time is 9 to 10 weeks.

Issuing Bank can also confirm en-cashment but thus far people have gotten PER BEFORE that confirmation from the bank.
