It means within 18th update, if the cap is not filled up, he will be within CAP. It is the findings man which could be wrong. For example, later on the CIC update could represent 4 working days.

We might not get always too serious.

Missing the translation means trouble for you and your application may probably be returned as incomplete. As for now you can try your luck by sending in the certified translation along with affidavit by translator to CIO.

Thanks Prince but someone told me they usually mail extra copies to requesting institutions and not to individuals. Can I send photocopies with a cover letter?

If you want to collect the IELTS TRF From the country where both of us come from, it will not be given to you but will be mailed to CIC.
I had earlier used my original ielts for an application, but it was not for CIO, though CIC accra has a copy due to an old application. While preparing for this FSWP, I went to enquire from british council in Lagos. I was told I can bring my documents on or before wednesday,the TRF will be prepared by Thursday and will be sent by Friday. This is done weekly. You bring along your application and A bankdraft of 10k to british council for the courier fees and they use DHL. On monday you will have to call for the tracking number. It took 6days for my application to reach CIO

This was what I did, took all the forms and documents and they couriered it

hi, same is the case with me. I got my uci on call last night buy system showing nothing. My application was received on 21st may. When ur application received and noc ?

My application received last May 16, 2013. NOC 2147. How about your NOC?

Dear Pharmacistfarhan, Dan and whose ever file has to transfer to local visa office, please check your status on ecas and please update what it states.

ECAS status is showing, We received your application for PR on May 08, 2013. It's upon my case specific inquiry to London VO, they confirmed me via email that my file has been transferred to them.

I had a similar intention and went through the CIC website for any such possibility.

What I found is:-

1) they do not provide Study Visa files in ECAS, they are only available with the respective VO/CHC.

2) Moreover, there is no UCI number on my refusal letter of 2004 Study Visa.

So, I could figure out anything from that letter.

Do anybody else have any further suggestions, please ?

As at 2004, there was no allotment of UCI, there was only immigration file number. Though can't remember when the allotment of UCI started,but as at 2010, it has been issued.

just to share with everybody else... my immigration consultant said that sending documents separate from the file (in cases you've missed something, or realized you should have sent some different form or whatever) is useless, because no one there would take that second letter and look for your file to attach one to another... only if you get your file number or any other tracking info, your second letter can get to the right address. this is only her opinion, and i wanted to share with you, since i see that lots of us have this same issue. i would rather wait for my file to be returned and then send all together, than send in a separate letter some originals that might be lost. no one needs to agree with this, i'm just passing an opinion. cheers!

It has taken 5 weeks to process 2 weeks of application.
i.e, 6th to 17th applications processed between 17th June to 19th July

Which means 2.5 weeks to process 1 week application
Which means 0.5 weeks / 2.5 working days to process 1 days application

Days required to process a days application can get lower as the dates get farther from FSWP opening date as there are fewer applications received per day compared to first few weeks of the program opening.

If you want to calculate how long your application would take to get processed Multiply the number of working days between the current date CIC processing and the date your application arrived at CIC by 3 (i.e, *3 Where 3 Rounded up from 2.5 working days to process 1 days application)

Guys whats ur take on :

I have send my application along with my spouse details .
Now I realise that my SPOUSE birth certificate
1 > does not have name on it , infact it has name feild BLANK ( I think its very common with old INDIAN Birth certificates)
2> has few things in hindi and few in english. unfortunately parents name is in HINDI ,

BTW
Like all , I have submitted both of ours ( Xth class Pass certificate ,voter id card and Passport which actually has the DATE of birth and name mentioned clearly ...
More over in INDIA , X th pass certificarte /Passport is considered as Date of Birth Proof, usually.

do u think my application can be rejected for this reason or u think it will be considered and they may ask me to furnish the doc again ??
iff u knw any case of this sort plz do mention.
