Sorry for the caps but my heart is racing. We received a sms today at 16:20 that Immigration Canada charged us with 1400CAD ! (quite strange on a Saturday, but who knows what procedure they have...Hope to have the PER soon ;D)

Applicants whose application reached on 15th may are getting news of CC charged is a good sign!!

it means CIC is rolling faster,
this forum is representing good number of people especially 2174 NOC
with the spreadsheet it can also be concluded that there are rejections also for
almost (25-30%) except some are popping at the end only to share their good news
only at the end of CC/ PER news

It is highly likely ( these are my own views ,one may disagree ) that this year
all caps will take more time to fill up,
I am considering 1:5 ratio for this forum : total global completed applications as per the.
spreadsheet.

@ kewlCanada - Somewhat correct but still erroneous (of course, we can't be that precise!). 0211 and other NOCs are quite slow comparatively. I don't know when they speed up with those other NOCs. My app reached on 31-May under 0211, so not expecting any news until mid or end-August with the current speed.

could you just analyse how many got news of PER. for the hottest NOC NOC 2174 ;
its 23 out of 39 till 13th may , almost 60% ( actually 8% of 300 cap ) ?

Mine is NOC 0211 too and I was wondering whether CIC do not have much interest in this NOC. We have only very scanty info coming out and it was originally projected as a hot NOC. Suddenly nothing is moving here. Hmmmm

the sudden speed of cic suggest that they had received a lot of applications until 13 may but from 14 may onwards they received less applications.
Most people who were ready with IELTS report were able to send their applications in the first week itself.
it is possible that cic end up processing application received till 31 may in the next 2 weeks itself.

Well I agree with you. I did not do any analysis. Just inferring with the number of Charges being done here as approximate representative sample of the whole application. Secondly, by getting people charged on a weekend also shows that CIC guys are cranking things up.
