Well let us hope for some activity from CIO/CIC tomorrow, so that we can start the weekend on a good note.

In 2011, CIC announced 1st amt received until the 3rd weekend after the door is open, July 23rd, So I think this time we should wait till after victoria's day, ie after may 24th. maybe may 25th?

Hi bjazjbej,

If it's any consolation to you, mine was also delivered as Ship Doc status signed by Stephenson.
So I checked web archives and found that this guy previously has taken deliveries. May be I can ask my lawyer who is in Toronto reg. this, because they are the ppl who sent the application form after verifying my docs. But the reply will come only by Tuesday, as it's long weekend there. So we can have peace of mind.

DHL delivery history: 5 working days + 1 non working. thanks to my consultancy they insisted and recommended DHL, which took too long to deliver.

gnxredstar I agree with you. I think ANYONE sending to CIC from ANYWHERE in the world that has UPS should use them. Wish I had thought about it.

I agree. The worst thing with FedEx is that even though I requested them repeatedly and my package was in NS day before they never bothered to help the client(me).

All the time they just kept on repeating the same line that your package would reach on the expected date on my tracking slip.

Hi islandbabe , rather than take one service as the best , one should do his/her homework in finding out the best service to a destination at that given moment and location. These things vary based on various factors major one of which is the air-flight routes they have access to for that location. It does seem that most courier services do not provide upgrades mid transit. So it would be our fault for not choosing the best service at the time of sending.

Nice work on the new fields , does make for an interesting data set.

The same thing happened to me when i was to get ECA from WES through UPS. it was stuck 3 days in mumbai . can you imagine? and all my calls were of no avail , they will/did deliver as per the date on the tracking slip. It is the same process with any courier.

A simple answer would be to look at the report you received from Wes and compare it to one another FSW applicant received. Since you have already sent of your report this is not possible...however an applicant asked me to do this for him a few weeks ago....and the reports were identical.....well except for a code in the top right hand corner that Wes said was an internal control number. I believe that Wes has enabled CIC with the facility to verify assessments online.....if this is so....then the issue as always would be to get Wes to ensure that they verify your info to CIC/Provide CIC with the needed info (whether this be enabling them to see your assessment online or sending them a paper copy). My suggestion would be to follow-up with WEs consistently to ensure that they do what they are supposed to.

Islandbabe, you are talking about me here. I asked you about the report.

Believe me I had really a hard time to find my answers on this matter. I emailed constantly to WES and they are sometime nuts. I laughed sometimes reading their responses because they were answering things which was not asked while keeping mum about my queries. To Cut it short . I must clarify for the information of the members here that though there is no difference in the first page of the report that they generate for General- Document by Document or Course by Course or any report in FSW. There is slight difference in the covering letter that is attached with the report. The biggest difference is that in FSW report one copy is sent to the CIC.

In my case I had already two copies from my earlier evaluation and when I ordered FSW duplicate report meant for people like me whose assessment had already been done by WES and those who are applying to CIC. WEs only issued one original copy to me and the other copy was sent to CIC . This is what my account also said.

In Nutshell, the report they are issuing to applicant for FSW is exactly same as if they would have issued to any other evaluation without FSW request. The only difference is that in non- FSW evaluation they will not send or provide CIC access to that report.

Same happened to me mine also was stuck for 2 days in mumbai.
Trust me their(UPS) online tracking doesnot show the right info. once it said departed mumbai and again third day it got scanned as departed mumbai 9: AM and when i went to UPS office it was already there from midnight and i could collect it. how come it departed mumbai twice ??

But need to mention that atleast from India UPS is the fastest to reach NS and cost effective
