Bro did you apply with the help of consultant or on your own,
actually In my opinion you have very high chances to get through if you
have sent all complete documents as per CIC checklist ,
Was your work ex mentioning all appropriate details as listed , and what were your main duties ?

Hi Guys, Do we have any reporting made at the forum for a pre-verification at employer much before the fee has been charged in current process ?
It's going difficult in FSW-2013 to assume anything as per previous trends..!

Admins. Kindly update my per dates in spreadsheet

Have you given IELTS?
if you apply for ECA at WES even this week you will get at your ECA at max by end of this month.
than why you said your doc will be ready by end of august.
even NOC 2131 is not HOT NOC I advise you try to submit your application at the earliest.

again about assumption of % of global application will be more clear after one or two CAP update by CIC.

Thanks for your reply

My biggest issue is that my current IELTS expires on August 13 2013, I work and live in the USA as a Civil Engineer, and I got a lot of issues getting my transcripts from college in my country, they are on their way to Canada as we speak, so I have to retake IELTS (just to make sure that I will not get my file returned for this reason), and my wife will be taking the test too, 4 more points, just to make sure. My self calculation for points is 69 as of now, but after reading some of the posts in here from people getting their applications returned, I just want to make sure, everything is going to be accurate and complete....

Makes sense? Thanks!

I think it would be better if we discuss in the other forum topic " NEW FSW Points Criteria Announced & NEW Federal Skilled Trades Class (FSTC) "

Do you have some canadian expereince ( like earlier history of employment in Canada like work permit etc. ) more delay can be attributed to such complicated cases . But any ways best of luck though !!
to me , Your duties sound more like a software engineer occupation, but chances of accepting your application can't be denied ,

I applied on my own. My job responsibilities letter included the following:

A couple of thoughts on CIO speed.
I see that in 20 days from 6/18 to 7/8, 40 of our members got their money charged, which is 2 per day, on average. And BTW, 20 days is not so small sample for this purpose so we could even get some usable stats from it.

This forum had 4% of all the applications in FSW 2011, and if we presume it's identical now, that should mean that on average CIO' does 2*(100%/4%) = 50 charges daily. So that may be their capacity at this point.
Which means around 1000 applications processed in a month, if they work on full speed and if the applications are coming at matching pace.

And why am I writing this.. because CIO didn't give any updates yet! :) C'mon guys - update, don't let us guessing forever.

Ya Kewl.. Details are d same as we are colleagues and applied together :-)

PMs are not allowed from my account at d moment.

I dont think you need to appear in IELTS if you can apply before your IELTS expires,
Your IELTS should be vaild at the time of application , Seniors can clarify more here !!

If your IELTS is still valid at the date when your applications is received by CIO, then you're fine.

I agree with this guesstimate. Few pages back, I posted that the difference between my application & islandbabe is about 695. This difference is in just 1 day & and it took them about 5 working days to charge an applicant who reached 24 hours after May 9th.

Next update from CIC can be funny or alarming. Let's hope it remains funny :s
